Description

I'm not pretty, but I'm portable.

The Plasticus Horribilis Frog is most often seen in the aisles of cheap import shops where prices are low and quality is lacking. This particular speciman has had all of his insides removed to enable the fast and easy carriage of his frame from place to place.

Yearning for more than to be surrounded by other cheap crap, Plasticus Horribilis Frog is now a part of the 2011/2011 Cache Race: Leapfrog. Therefore, move him far and move him wide (how you move him wide is entirely up to you).

Although the container is listed as Micro, the frog you are looking for is a tadpoles tail under 18cm tall. Log book is in the back of his head, no pen or pencil. Might be room for some tiny loot, if you cram it!

Logs

It appears this frog never got started, so we will be archiving it.

The owner can re-enable this cache if it is ever found by posting an 'unarchive' log.

Hi frogglin,

I know the lavender bushes have been checked, perhaps being a micro it' just too difficult without a photo of the cache? Or there is more than 1 lavender bush, guidance to which to search in? Eg SW corner of gazebo or the bush on your furthest right if approaching from driveway.

Glad to see you other frog is getting some km under it's belt!

The co-ords are very slightly different, sorry but they're the best I can get in this location.

Go to the Garden, go to the gazebo, there's a lavender plant - the frog is in the lavender plant.

As stated it's a public garden, there's no need to feel uncomfortable or anything like that - I wouldn't hide a cache in a private garden.

The coordinates didn't seem to be any different than before... Like the others I found the coordinates and hint 15m or more apart, and after a very quick poke around I gave it away, feeling uncomfortable poking around this garden and that my geocaching time was better spent elsewhere...

Co-Ords tightened.

Looked for this one tonight - 4 pairs of caching eyes but no luck. GZ was no where near the spot mentioned in the hint so maybe the co-ords need to be refined.

Checked on at 4:20pm, 11 Dec - Plasticus Horribilis was right where he was supposed to be.

Have revised hint. The Garden he is located in is a public garden belonging to a Neighbourhood House, so while it might feel like you're trespassing, you're not!

No luck, GZ seemed away from the hint, only had a quick look as felt uncomfortable at location in the garden. Maybe a more detailed hint or move in the bush setting nearby?
