Description
Flat Frog
One of several of our entries in Caching Games Leapfrog.
Flat Frog is a little magnetic number that can be hidden as your imagination takes you.
BYO your own scribing tool.
Leap Frog is a moving cache race for December 2011 and January 2012
http://www.cachinggames.com/leapfrog/
Please move it as far as you can within 2 days and hide it safely to avoid muggle trouble, but not so well that geocachers can't find it quickly...
Please log it when you grab it and drop it as quickly as possible to avoid those annoying DNFs and to keep things rolling smoothly - thanks!
Please add a hint to your placed log to help if necessary.
Leapfrog game rules (extract):
Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days
Logs
will move to Geelong
Thanks 80Degress...photo of him attached.
No! But the guard could be railed if you want one!
Why did the frog cross the road?
He wanted to see his "FLAT" mate!
Was caching with Budgietas and was between cache finds when he said "Here's a present from West Australia" and he handed me this cache.
He gave it to me at 1416hrs.
Will have him back out in another hide ASAP.
TFTC and cheers
OldSaint.
Thanks for the 80degrees!
I've held onto this frog for much longer than planned but life gets in the way of caching sometimes. While visiting The Crackerjack to make my 6th annual visit I thought I'd find a good spot for a flat frog, it was only on arrival that I discovered the large structure nearby is not suitable for a magnetic frog so I considered other nearby options and quickly found a spot that any frog would enjoy and in this case a location that would suit a flat frog!
Tucked the frog into position and he awaits the next finder.
Thanks 80 Degrees for a variation on the theme.
Quite busy for a Sunday so took longer to search than I had expected!
Will rehide soon
Travel far little Frog .
Yet again I was out looking for frogs in the dark and, yet again my head torch was playing up when I needed it . You'd think that I'd have thought to change the batteries .
This flat guy was easy to find as he was sitting on the ground! I'll add a little chip of rare earth magnet to him to help him cling and send him on has way.
Cheer 80degrees thanks for the Frog.
