Description
A frog prince?
Prince Charming is not really very charming, he can be quite rude actually.
He was an entrant in the frog race December 2010 to January 2013, but now he spends long periods of time just sitting around catching flies and burping.
If you find Prince Charming, please log with a tick as soon as you can after you pick him up and log again with an arrow when you rehide him.
Please take great care when you rehide the Prince so that he cannot be easily found by inquisitive muggles and consider leaving a good clue and accurate coordinates when you rehide him to help other cachers to find him easily.
Thanks to all who have moved him already and to those whe are yet to find him.

This geocache appears to be MIA so stop it clogging of the search lists we'll archive this one. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
Firstly, I must offer my humblest of apologies to the owner of Prince Charming. I had every intention of moving him along soon after I found him, but unfortunately he became lost at the bottom of my geocache stash, so I consequently forgot about him until I decided to have a general clean-out of my bag.
As it happened, I was going on an overnight trip to this place soon after my clean-out, so I was able to stash him away for you.
You will most definitely need some sort of hook device to retrieve him from his hidey-hole, might I suggest a bit of bent wire hanger?
Once again, my apologies for such a long wait for his move.

Found it! GPS was spot on, and so were the clues. The bardes part in retrieving the Prince was clearance between Muggles!!
I will drop him off to his new resting place tomorrow. TFTC!!

much more happening here, the prince loves it.
A nice shady spot under the bushes hiding from the many swimming muggles.
As promised, the Prince has been moved to a nice sea side location. There's been a bit of Royalty about Tasmania recently but I don't believe they made it here. Their loss, this little frog has it to himself!
Noticed the Prince had been sitting here for a while so collected him on the way past. He was well hidden and I'd've struggled without the hint.
Where next I wonder? Perhaps a seaside holiday?

A bonus find while looking for another cache TFTF

After spending a little break in the warmth of the 2y'stassies geo-home, it was time for the dapper prince to be on the road again.
Finally, Prince Charming has been tracked down. We were pleased to make the acquaintance of the erstwhile prince. He will not now a state visit to the north west. TFTC
Not surprised he didn't want to come. You should have seen where we found him! No place for a prince unless he was pursuing an ice maiden. Now he's in nice cozy, familiar, lodgings and here's someone prising him out within 24 hours? Last time he lasted nearly a week in this spot!
In reality I was a bit concerned as to how long he might be in residence here and pushed him back a bit for security. Better safe than muggled. Sorry he was difficult.

Nearly lost him down the wall -didnt want to come, but he was persuaded.

Moved the Prince back to the historical lodgings we dropped him at last time. Save and secure, not to mention a whole lot warmer!
Found this frog whilst exploring the area. Last time we found him, he was in WA. Bit different from his current icy surrounds! We'll see what we can do about a relocation to warmer climes.
Prince Charming will need a charmed life to survive in this bird reserve set around Lake Sorrell at Interlaken. He was hidden on a frosty morning where the ice rattled on the shore of the lkae producing a metallic ringing sound that he (nor I the hider) have never heard before. A beautiful place for a frog to hide though cold, oh so very cold.
Prince Charming was waiting for his princess in the ruins of a tree stump next to the Mersey River. Is this a safe place where the platypus sticks its beak around looking for a tasty charming titbit? No, so it's off to Interlaken for Charming.
Picked him up this morning...all safe and sound...cheers.

Visiting Ross. The poor Prince had a long and exposed stay at his last location so we took pity and found him a sheltered spot in some historical lodgings.
Not sure exactly what royalty's into these days. Examining this Prince's piercings, we realised the reason for the expression on his face!

Collected this frog on an early morning excursion. He's been sitting too long, he was starting to look like like a piece of tree.
Good location though. Quick brush up and he's ready to travel again.
I see a long trip coming up for this Prince.

Prince Charming is watching the rowers in the shade of a tree.
Adam Ant is one of the frogs left to clear the mozzies and flies before people arrive for Froggy Frolic in the Park.
Looked in one place the clue pointed to but only rubbish. The gardener was working in the other corner. Maybe he jumped into the lovely frog habitat instead.
Edit : too slow! Nice to see he had already moved on.

A good song by Adam and the Ants. Nice spot he was hiding in too - I've walked past a couple of times this week without knowing he was there. TFTC!

The other moveable cache at this location threw me at first but I soon found the frog hiding underneath.
Joined Drifter Too after I checked on his location.
He is also hiding under the pine needles in the fork of a tree.

This little guys hanging around waiting for the pond to fill up
Have just seen the news. We now know what those flashing lights were all about when we were coming home last night after picking up the Prince. There was an escaped prisoner on the loose and he finally got caught at 9pm last night after the car chase that passed us by ... and apparently went on through Wilson, along Leach Highway, Manning Road, Kent Street and the Kwinana Freeway....for over an hour! He side-swiped 3 police cars and even a civilian's too so we were very lucky we didn't drive into them all!!
The Prince in a little spot with an island surrounded by water to keep him happy. There is a GCA cache belonging to a lovely group of geocachers whom we haven't seen for a long time. Picture clue provided.
A nice and easy find. We headed out to gz with a flashlight ... expecting to do a bit of searching but found Prince Charming rather quickly, thanks to SquaLeD's useful clue! It took us a minute to retrieve the Prince. There were two people fishing nearby who saw us but didn't say anything ... We smiled cheerfully and left. At least one doesn't have to worry about being sprung with a movable cache!!
As the Kat mentioned below, there were police sirens, lights flashing and cars driving on the wrong side of the road on our way back. All very strange .... I shall set Prince Charming free some time tomorrow. Cheers and TFTC iluvtrekking!!

I am moving the cache a little bit to keep with the rules. I am passing Prince Charming on to Xinders who was there with me and she will be moving it on tomorrow. On our way back in the car we were confronted by about 20 flashing police cars and two driving on the wrong side of the road heading straight for us. They were chasing another car. The 20 cars were on the right side of the road giving chase alongside the vehicle. Will be checking to see what was going on in the news.
Found at 8.50pm. While logging another cache, we became aware that we had driven past this one, a little over 2 hours ago so we thought we would hop back into the car and see if it was still out there ... and it was!! Yay! A very nice hide!!
Prince Charming - Looking out over the river...
Had intended to pick up some other frogs in the area but they had gone already so dropped this frog with some mates.
