Description

Laughing Entertaining Adorable Pet Frog

A frog in the hand is worth two in the bush.

L.E.A.P. Frog is a bright and happy little pet frog who is squatting and calling out to those who pass by to move him on. He is dressed to travel in a corduroy jacket and is a massive 5cm tall. He loves to hitch a ride with any geocacher who is willing to look after him and move him. He wants to move on fairly quickly so he doesn't dry out.

Logs

This geocache appears to be MIA so to stop it clogging the search lists we'll archive it.

If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.

Team MavEtJu have confirmed with me that it has indeed been picked up from the location in Dubbo and moved further south. I am afraid it may be missing as they can't recall where in Forbes NSW they moved it to. There are plenty of places to hide it and parts of the town have been flooded since then. See photo.

Grabbed this one. We approached the are from the wrong direction and had to go down the steep hill, over the creek and then uphill again. At the top HanorahTLG hugged a cactus and has to be rescued. What a day....

Finally got out to move this fella. Sorry it took so long. Smile

Heard Mr Frog's call to move him on and picked him yo this evening. I'll take him for a fly in a big jet plane, or maybe not so big, back to Dub-vegas.

Funny story... when i got back to the place I'm staying while working in town, I put him on the bathroom basin to wash and forgot about him. My roomie workmate had a shower and he was facing the shower when she got out. With a face like his you can imagine her fright. Haha. Whoops. Very Happy

Despite his size, this frog is quite heavy, and made quite a dent in my knee while walking the dog this morning. Dropped LEAP off at an abandoned GCA location. He is tucked into the post frame on the North east corner of the little bridge.
If you have a spare cache box, a replacement fot the missing regular might be nice too.

31-Jan-14
Leap has been waiting for a pickup with a weeping angel, two transports and another frog, lets see where he goes next. I think i got some of his partner frog's log mixed up with his, so i'll fix.that next. Will drop off near a suitable pond soon.
Ribbit Try to keep him out of the sun too - hot weekend coming up.

Be safe and keep hopping and hopefully no more lengthy abductions.

I've got sunshine on a cloudy day
Got a lovely little lamp
Inside my brain

I've got you and me
That's a family
Let's fly the seven seas
and see what we see

'Cause life is silly
if you see like me
So please
Don't take life so seriously

Take time to flee
Explore like me
Interstate with ease
And reappear mysteriously.

Hi Moneybox
Noticed this frog has been in Tasmania for sometime now and have been waiting the opportunity to log it but not until now has it made itself available.
Saw a mate at work this morning and he graciously handed it over at 1110hrs this morning.
Even had time to hide it on the way home.
Hope you are both well and we miss you here in Tassie
Cheers and TFTC
OldSaint.

Left in a peaceful location. Hope this spot isn't private property. Seemed open to all, as are most of these locations. Occupants kept their peace anyway. SmileRibbit

18-Apr-12
Definitely a case of the frog in hand. There were meant to be two frogs in this bush but, whilst this one came quickly to hand, his mate was no-where to be seen. I suspect L.E.A.P might have been saved by his box and bag disguise. Anyhow, whatever the reason, we were happy to see him. Our first frog in WA. Ribbit

I gave a bit of assistance Shhhhhhh and then left L.E.A.P. here for iluvtrekking to collect.
