Description

A moveable cache, originally hidden as an entrant in the 2011/12 leapfrog cache race. Now that the race has ended, this continues its life as a normal moveable cache.

A 200ml container, themed appropriately for the leapfrog race. Find it, log the find, take it, move it, re-hide it, then log the new coordinates. Easy!

Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, run away, make your log and rehide it somewhere else, as far away as possible, and as quickly as possible. When you find it and move it along, please rehide it safely, but provide a detailed hint in your "moved" log so that he can easily found next time.

This cache doesn't have a logbook, nor does it need one. Simply log your find, and the subsequent move, here in GCA online.

Please feel free to log this cache as often as you wish, as long as you are having fun finding and rehiding it. Of course, you should wait until one other person has hidden it before you can log it as a find again.

There are some simple guidelines:

  1. When you grab the cache please rehide it within 2 days to keep the cache moving.
  2. Please rehide the cache as far away from where you found it as possible. The further the better!
  3. Log your find at Geoaching Australia as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
  4. When logging your find at geocaching.com.au, please insert the co-ordinates in the coords box.
This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them.
  5. Please keep this cache in Australia but feel free to move it interstate if you feel in the mood.
  6. Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.

Of course the best fun about one of these caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Feel free to be as obvious as you need to be in order to claim it.

Logs

This cache looks to be MIA. To save it turning up on the lists we'll archive it. If it's resurrected the owner can activate it by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.

this was our 1st trek .. we did not find it, since returning home we have done some more research and will search for caches with more recent log dates Embarassed ... the bushland was very "used" so it is possible that these little amphibians are long gone Ribbit

Well after spending the best part of 2 days at Hillarys, then going back there this afternoon, we have run out of time to get these froggies on there way. Brick Wall

so have decided to put them out of the sun to rest up (it's going to be 39degrees tomorrow, dont want them to melt) at a well known gnome/ frog rest spot before moving along.

Heading south towards Bunbury for the day on a caching run with rudi63. We left home at about 0745 and arrived in Bunbury at 1300. Slow hey? Well that is what happens when you head via Waroona etc

On the way there, he showed me this cache. I was not really expecting it to be what it is, although after re-reading the title, it all makes sense Laughing

Thanks for the frogs

Cheers Cool

WanderingAus wandered by, and dropped Duh! Frog near the Canning River in Kelmscott to attract frog hunters towards GA3704 Miss Lbjezza Leap frog By Lbjezza, who sadly has been unloved for a week. Don't eat the frogs is hiding in the dead part of the tree in the photo, under bits of dead wood.

WanderingAus wandered by on my first really successful frog hunt, five found out of six hunted, after only finding one out of five last week. This one was the hardest to find, I'd seen a photo of it a week ago and was thinking it was much bigger than it is. After ten minutes of fruitless searching I went on to hunt other frogs, then returned for another go, then finally read the hint which read "Base of retaining wall under bush". The coords took me to a retaining wall, but there were only well trimmed rose bushes near that wall. I had checked another retaining wall ten metres away before I moved on, but this time I persisted, and finally found it only fifteen metres from the posted coords. This was unexpected, because all the other frogs I found had been dropped by Ozcrawf on the same day, and the coords had been spot on.

I'll be dropping the horde in Kelmscott to attract frog hunters towards GA3704 Miss Lbjezza Leap frog By Lbjezza, who sadly has been unloved for a week.
