Description

I am part of the Leap Frog game, so please move me on.  I contain a waterproof log (use pencil if it is wet) and  a few froggy swaps.  If my logbook is too problematic, you can just log me by logging the find on GCA.  Please don't take my pencil or sharpener - I need them!  I look forward to meeting you and the other leap froggers.

06-Nov-12
Bluey has returned home for a rest - and to leave more room out there for the next round of trackables.

05-Nov-12
Nice to catch up with bluey at the event.

05-Nov-12

This traveller was placed on the table at the event GC3YD6Y "Haunted by Milestones" organised by Cheesy Pigs tonight.

I figured this guy had been stuck on the mountain long enough and decided to liberate him. As I reached around the rock to grab him I caught movement out the side of my eye and turned to see a half grown platypus dart back over the edge of the river and into its hollow. Unfortunately there wasn't time for a picture but it brought a smile to my face as my animal encounter day continued Smile

Thanks for the cache

28-Jan-12
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

28-Jan-12

If not grabbed by anyone, I'll hide somewhere else after the event.

This is the first time I've met Bluey Frog. Very cute. Lots of little swaps inside but I made no exchange - I did sign the log though. I collected Bluey Frog at Jabs letterbox when I randomly swung by there on my way home. So it was a lucky little detour.

Found this cache and rescued from a fate worse than death : a trip to the mainland of Australia. Actually found a large group of frogs that had been surrounding the event at the beltana on Friday night.

Thanks for the frog

Mr Frog jumped out of the pond one day
And found himself in the rain
Said he, "I'll get wet and I might catch a cold."
So he jumped in the pond again.

GrannySwamp is keeping an eye on the F&G Ball going on at the bottom of the garden. The F&G Ball is a lot like a B&S Ball but without the utes.
If they stay together and not wander off, you should find them all behind the tree near the stacked wood, just on the fence line.

06-Jan-12
Finally. Co-ords out a bit but got him in the end

06-Jan-12
Came back after a phone call from Old Saint about where we went looking last time and that we were looking in the wrong place.
We happened to close by this time so drove the extra to come find Bluey Frog.
Will have him out soon.

geo kid a, geo kid i and myself left at 5.21 on a frog raid to north west, and north tasmania. our goal was simple, to liberate the frogs from this region and bring them to civilisation Smile

we were successful though most of the north west, only missing a few frogs that had been captured by local cachers on the previous day.

In all we liberated over 25 frogs back to below the border - or at least the imaginary mason dixon line.......

all frogs will be released back to the wild tomorrow.

Anyway here is my log signature

Bluey had heard from Cadbury that there was a chocolate place near Latrobe, not as good as Cadbury at Claremont, but reasonable. So he wanted to be dropped off there on the way through. We obliged.

14-Dec-11
Found on our way home after a frog-huntng raid on the south. Bluey will come with us to the North West to continue his race there. TFTF

He's back out in a frog pad we have used before. He is a bright little fellow so thought this might be a good spot for Blue.

Nice little park in Pontville on the main thoroughfare through the area.

Bluey is actually hard to hide, given his colour. You may want to come rescue him from the rain. He is hiding at the bottom of a pampas grass bush

I was going to drop Frogger off on a lunchtime ride, but then decided it might be better to keep that one safe, so I dropped it off with BudgieTas.
In return, I picked up Bluey Frog, and he'll go out on the ride with me today!

Grabbed without geo kids after school. Basically the geo wife was to collect kids from the bus stop when I got an emergency phone call - my geo wife was stuck in the hair dressers. Well this was 15 after the bus had arrived, so I was off like a shot and collected the kids. We then set off to rivers in glenorchy as they had $1 pairs of socks. Rivers socks are great. They are comfortable and last well. 20 pairs later we decided to check the nearby frogs. There were 3 - one very close and two a bit of a drive. Quickly found the closest then set off for the two in Claremont. Ribbit Managed to find and retrieve both!!!

Anyway I haven't published in a log my favorite frog song yet - so here it is

Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
Da- Glumpf went the little Green frog
Da -Glumpf went the little Green frog one day
And the frog went Glumpf Glumpf Glumpf
But we all know frogs go "La de da de da"

They don't go glumpf glumpf glumpf.
