The bridge has been rebuilt, so thought perhaps I should swing by and check on our friend. Unfortunately he has gone!
Whilst placed up a hill next to residential property fence, who'd thought an engineer might one day come up here to install a minor survey point, let alone replace an entire bridge!!

Bridge is under construction, due open late 2016
Have not verified if Squeaky's still sitting where I left him.

I couldn't get near GZ as the road is closed and the bridge is gone.
Hope the cache survives.

My understanding is that the competition is over so I'm only logging a find - I'm not moving it along. It's a good location , providing a safe stopping point off the highway, as well as reasonable privacy from muggles. TN-LN-SL. Thanks to Julz76 for the cache.
I was about to head out to the hardware store when I noticed that Rogue had been through and dropped off a couple of moveables that I hadn't had before so I made a brief diversion on my way to pick them up. I was trying to surreptitiously recover the cache when 'squeeek' - so much for being sneaky. TFTC.
Dropped off the squeaky one on a nice walk around the river. Safe travels
I picked up the squeaky frog and will move him on to a new location very soon. He really is very squeaky...

Found time on a recent trip to leave a trail of moveables. The advantage of moving West for a few days is that it's very easy to get up earlier than the locals. The downside to this is that when I hid these caches the traffic was very mild. Extreme care will be needed under busier conditions.
Once again, no trampling required. Jump into the circle and hunt from the inside.

Discovered this cache some distance from GZ whilst looking for GA3732.
He/she is suffering from a tongue affliction but still seems in good squeaking form.

Checked the hide while in the area today - none of the three moveables I hid are there. Covering bark still in place, so not animals.
This cache "croaker" is hidden in a very guarded situation with two other caches!
Hi Julz67
Got this one by default tonight!
Mr red tag dropped it in my pocket as I was leaving the event "Haunted by Trivia" tonight.
Will have him back out in the field ASAP
Cheers OldSaint.

Had to make a "BUDGET" manouvre today so that's where it'll stay until the Budgie comes back from play!
Hi Julz76
Found this croaker on the way to another cache.
He'd sat around for far too long without being found.
Picked him up at 1240hrs.
Love the little guy!

I have carried this little fellow around for far too long, and his constant squeaking should have been a reminder to place him somewhere sooner. He came on a walk up Mt Wellington today so I placed him near a creek on the Lenah Valley Track.
Froggy located on this visit, on the opposite side of the track to where the GPS wanted to send me. This time I had a proper look without rushing to get out of the rain. Squeaky squeaked all the way home!
I had a good look around on both sides of the track, but the increasing rain forced me to admit defeat without a find.
Sorry I have had him too long.
The squeaky frog is now in a log.

Good spot for frogs! Just be careful of the pond nearby.
At this hiding spot, there was the big, the small and the noisy! With all of that my day pack was stretched and squeaking. Thanks for the cache.
My this is a noisy fellow, good thing he has a nice, quiet, spot, well away from muggles !
Found him hiding in the long grass with his mate on a lovely sunny day !
A really nice spot tucked away here !
Thanks for the cache, Julz76 !

Squeaky is hiding with Fernando in a Cygnet Nature Reserve at the end of Henleys Rd. Be careful when you look for them that you don't get cut.
Hi Julz76
Had been along this track before so getting there was no problem this time. Last time, I followed the needle and did a small bush bash to get the cache and an FTF that I was after.
Leap Frog Squeaky was well hidden with another frog, Fernando; both croaking away as I approached ground zero, making the find at 1131hrs quick and easy.
They can have a warm night in the car before I put them out again.
Thanks to Whitewebbs for taking me back to this track so soon after the last visit - great hide.
TFTC and cheers

Back out enjoying the pine forest with a friend.
Handed to whitewebbs while holidaying at the shack.
Heading back to Lonnie we stopped to grab Squeaky who was enjoying his hide a little too much. Nearly gave up lots of teatree and vines to search through. Very surprised to find Fernando hiding there as well a bonus find TFTF

We had intended to leave Squeaky somewhere in melbourbe but the weather was so bad that Squeaky wanted to stay in our bags and come to Tassie where the weather has been so much better. Squeaky is now by the sea enjoying the sounds of waves crashing onto the shore, a very different environment to Canberra (and not as cold either).
Today was the third day of our excursion out of Tasmania touring from Melbourne to Canberra and return via Gippsland. We visited a number of towns and areas today between Sale and Bairnsdale and we were lucky enough to find some caches along the way. Despite being overcast at times and some very infrequent showers, we have had an excellent day. We stopped on our way to Bairnsdale to look for the cache "GC2VRZC MadStars - Power Nap" and to our surprise found two frogs in residence. Squeaky was so excited that when patted he squeaked and extended his tongue a long way. He wanted to be moved on to meet other frogs - so he is now riding with us and will be placed at another location in the near future. TFTC
PS: A milestone cache for us - our 4000th find. Sincere thanks to all geocachers who have placed caches for our enjoyment and for the enjoyment of others.

A nice stop for 3 logs in one. Read the stash note however it says please do not move it, so I didn't. Well actually the reason I didn't move it is that I suck at moving things along I know I can never move on TB's so I won't even bother with a cache.
A fair hop and as it's raining I think Squeaky will like it here.
Grabbed this one and its mate nearby, on a late afternoon walk with the mutt. Thanks Julz76.
Out in the world again. Given that most of the locals have already found this one I expect that it might be here for a while, so tried to hide it well.
This is what I like. a bunch of moveables all in one spot an easy walk from a parking spot. Just the right sort of enticement for me to go a slightly different route home. So I grabbed it.
Placed in Callum Brae today with Sol de Lune's instructions. Cheers!
Grabbed, and past to Toy Hunters who will rehide shortly.
Thanks for the frog...

Found another frog, lucky there were no muggles about because Squeaky lived up to his name when I was trying to re-cover him. Signed the log as the 27th, oh well close enough.
Left in place for the next person.
Thanks for the froggy fun!

Nice find today among all the Frogs, Gnomes and others over 70 participants as well as the odd human, some of them very odd indeed!
Many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.

What we ended up with was afternoon tea, bags and bags of frogs, and pleasant chats with some very nice cachers - as well as pjmpjm and RogerW3!
Please forgive me if I got it wrong, but I seem to remember pjmpjm, RogerW3, Toriaz and Taiko's family, all at the party. As well as a few young ladies and gentlemen running around and being generally helpful.
We now have many, many frogs to rehome, so the sooner we start the better!

Left him on the table for others to move along . . .
Bye, bye, Squeaky!

A very nice surprise . . .
But now he'll have to travel further west . . .

'Leap Frog Squeaky' does not seem to be the worse for wear after the humongous party all the Frogs had, they were all very quiet as I bundled them into the back pack. Well there was no way I was going to pay for all those train tickets!

Off to Lithgow goes Squeaky!
Bon voyage, froggie!
Hope you'll enjoy the Clwydd area.
Great to pick up Squeaky again.
I brought him home with me and he's presently entertaining our three Persian cats.
They thought at first that he was a large, green mouse!
Will try to move him on tomorrow.

Moved to Leura, in the Blue Mountains.
Squeaky hopped up the road to Macdonalds to meet up with Team Canary
Squeaky was leading a very noisy froggy serenade when i dropped by this evening. I invited a few of the frogs home for some tea of big fat mozzie larva and Squeaky was very keen to join in with that plan!

Squeaky has headed down to the famous Parramatta River for a bit of a swim and a night of croaking with mates
Time to let this guy and a friend loose in the wilds of Dural
After grabbing these 4 guys this morning, I barely had time to get home, before another Geomobile drove around and these fellas jumped into his car, for more rain soaked adventures
Picked up this fella with 8 of his mates in a rain soaked early morning frog run. They are all in my car conspiring on their next move. I'll need to separate them soon.

Squeaky decided he wanted some new scenery so he hopped off to enjoy some time looking at the views and squeaking with his new mates.
