Description

Red Striped Yellow Frog

Red Striped Yellow Frog is part of the GCA Great Leap Frog Race between December 1, 2011 until January 31, 2012.

Please help him to fulfil his duty by helping to move him along, sign the log book and log online at Geocaching.com.au

Please move him along ASAP, he is in a race.

Please note this plastic/PVC frog is only small (8cm) thus he blends in and hides well in his surrounds.

The rules of the "Moving Cache Leap Frog Game" are published on the Caching Gamessite, a ladder and map are also available
Logging this cache is easy:
First Step:   Log your find with a 'Found it' log (this will give you your smiley!)

Second Step:
When you have moved the cache to a new location, log a 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates and even a hint in the hint box if you wish.
So go for it – this frog is out there waiting for you.

Logs

Looks like the cache has gone the way of the dodo. If the cache owner can confirm it's in place they can resurrect the cache by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.

The kids and I picked up three caches on the way home tonight after school. They had all popped up in an area close to their school so it was just a matter of driving around and picking them up one by one. This was one we picked up. None of them posed a problem so before we knew it we were relaxing back at home doing homework and cooking dinner. I like it how a plan comes together. The kids and I jumped out and I said to the son, try there. He found it with glee and the muggle walking her dog never saw a thing. Great work. We signed the log and played on the equipment nearby. Thanks

Not a very froggy spot but this guy jumped out while we were in the park for a Simpson's cache. Travel far little frog.

I've been watching the frog population over this side of the bridge growing over the last few days but when this one showed up just over 1km from work I couldn't resist.
A lunchtime frog run saw me with three frogs and a GC cache in 45 mins which I was happy with.
Thanks mrx02 for the frog. I'll try to get him to a more froggy location soon.

School term back on so my travels move not far from this locale.

With a couple of new frogs posted here I cruised past for the pick up.

Will move on soon.

A Leapfrog swap with Leaping Lime Frog and Croaks NO Evil, I dropped two others (including this one) in the native garden nearby.

I've notice this and a few other Leapfrogs sitting in the nature reserve for some time now. Today I decided it was long time they were rescued and brought back into the race, so I made a day of it and grabbed some geocaches in the part of the world too. I shall move it along soon - hopefully tomorrow. Smile

OK, my ambition in life is to get this frog logging correct Think. If I log it as a 'Found it', people don't know whether or not I took it to move on Neutral. If I log it as a 'Moved' only, I don't get the credit for the 'find' Doh. This therefore is the 'Moved' log to company the 'Found it' log even though I didn't move it!! Confused? I know I am Confused. Wink

Anyhoo, I didn't move it folks. It's right where I found it. Good luck Very Happy.

*FTF* and an easy start for the day.. glad it was a dry night as it was raining cats and frogs earlier in the day..

Reviewing my stats I discovered a few that had very few logged words regarding the journey. I like to write a bit, and hate reading my caches logs with little of the story. This one was found somewhere and dropped somwhere on a day when we moved frogs via Geelong, Queenscliffe, Newport (ish) and ultimately to Kilkunda. Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to take this one along for the journey. This one like the 15 or soo others ended up at either Avalon Airport or up a tree at Kilkunda.. Fun was had, however like all good story's they must come to an end.. thanks for the frog..
