Description

This Frog is part of the GCA Great Leap Frog Race between December 1, 2011 until January 31, 2012.

Please help her to fulfil her duty by helping to move her along, sign the log book and log online at Geocaching.com.au

Please move him along ASAP, he is in a race.

Please note this plastic/ceramic/acrylic/PVC frog is only small (15cm) this makes her adept at hiding, he is staring contently at a plastic container which will distract him whilst you pounce..

The rules of the "Moving Cache Leap Frog Game" are published on the Caching Games site, a ladder and map are also available

Logging this cache is easy:

First Step:   Log your find with a 'Found it' log (this will give you your smiley!)

Second Step:

When you have moved the cache to a new location, log a 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates and even a hint in the hint box if you wish.

So go for it – this pregnant frog is out there waiting for you.

An apology is due here, I moved house several times and after a separation I nearly gave up caching. Unpacking boxes recently I came across this fella. I hope he likes the spot.
Cheers Gordo

The cache appears to be MIA so we'll archive it to stop it showing up on search lists. If the cache owner can confirm it's in place, they can resurrect the cache by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.

Found by caughtatwork at 12:54 on 5/01/2013
It's been a while since this guy was found and moved, so we've taken him away and he'll be out very shortly for some new adventures.
Took nothing, left nothing.
Thanks Spladem for this cache in the race last year. He'll be moving on shortly.

I found this cache with caughtatwork today. We brought all the caches home and have logged them into our closest hiding place. caughtatwork has picked them all up already, so there is nothing there to find. It's been a while since this guy was found, so caughtatwork says he'll move them on shortly.

Decided to take off for a look for this new placement into the area. Once at GZ, I must confess to having a peek at the hint Embarassed after which the Ribbit was soon in hand at 16:40. There's plenty of water underfoot around the place making it a perfect location for froggies so I left him in situ.

TNLNSL. Thanks Spladem.

Dropped this from off which I had far too long. Sorry Spladem, I only lost the plot, not the frog! Lets hope the next finder is a bit quicker moving it!

A big caching April's Fool Day for me while staying at a camp in Mt Martha for a day or two with the family. Firstly with geoson and a friend in the morning, and then in the arvo, I obtained permission to go out on my own - yes!!

This was find number 7, and the last for the morning.
Thanks Spladem, we'll move on soon.

We are staying in Somers for a week so decided to hide Tadpoles on the Way in last years Gnome hot spot on Mornington Peninsula lol. After a very hot day down here we (our Muggle friends and us) had tea at the Pizza place in Balnarring and then drove up to Seawinds where there was a lovely breeze and TOTW jumped out of our bag just after we headed off towards the lookout. BUT...there was a whole lot more adventure in store for us yet .....

As I did not pick the frog up, I'll log a moved log to let others know it is still here.

I decided to go on a leapfrog hunt on the way home before going out for the night. I had planned to log finds on ten frogs, and was successful on finding them all. On about the third frog I reached down and felt a sharp pain in my right eye. I had spiked it with a leaf of a nearby sword grass plant. Little did I know at that time it was going to be a very long and painful recovery over the next five days. While I was able to manage a cache a day over those days I spent most of my time lying flat with the eye bandaged shut. They don’t call it cacher grass for no reason!! Thanks for the frog!

Moved 11km so not too bad. Better than sitting in a park.

Not moving again, just updating the coordinates. I had a technical glitch when I hid these which meant I had to use google maps to guess the location.

Sorry I haven't been able to get back 'til now

No luck with this frog today. My GPSr was giving me a GZ that, although not too far off the path, was at least 30 m away from the nearest log. I gave the nearest 3 or 4 logs a quick search but wasn't too confident of the co-ords. OR, maybe the FTF is all I get Razz . Ribbit

Well that didn't go to plan. The idea was to drop the frogs we picked up from Wattle Park this morning near our frog (http://geocaching.com.au/cache/ga3467) to encourage someone to pick ours up. I ended up entering the park in the wrong place and couldn't find my way across to my frog. This delicate little lady was sick of being squashed in my bag and jumped out and hid in a log. Artemis being a gentleman offered to stay with her to make sure she was OK.

Coordinates could be dodgy on this. I'll recheck when I get the chance.

The kids needed to get out of the house so a frogging trip to Wattle Park seemed ideal. Picked this one up as 10 of 10 for the morning. The kids only just made it around the whole loop. TFTF.

First Leapfrog for the day (one of three like the day before) - thankfully still here for an easy if somewhat exposed grab (thankfully the traffic was light) Will move along tomorrow.

This lounging lady decided that a place with a few cafes nearby was a perfect place to stop.

Travel far little frog. Mr. Green

*FTF* @ 12:20 am.

I don't do much night caching so this was something a little different. Thrashing around in the bushes after midnight with a malfunctioning torch is always fun if you come away with the FTF on a Frog. Very Happy
