Description
One of our competitors in the Leap Frog race by Geocaching Australia.
The race runs from 1st December 2011 until 31st January 2012 and details of the race can be found at http://wiki.geocaching.com.au/wiki/Leapfrog or http://www.cachinggames.com/leapfrog/
There is a pathtag for the first kind geocacher who moves me along.
We do have FTF and 2TF certificates and finder cards which you can collect when you catch us out and about or at an event.
May the best Frog win!
Logs
This geocache appears to be MIA so stop it clogging of the search lists we'll archive this one. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
In the area today as we arrived in town from the Alice Springs mega and headed out for this one. Had a good look around but alas there was no sign of AusHopper. We had the added advantage of having the last finder in our group as well, and as far as he could tell, the path near GZ has collapsed a little and we think the cache may now be buried.
As its been almost 4 years since that last find, I think there's a good chance this one is gone for good.
Might need to be archived....sorry Austrackers.

#GA66 - 18:30; Found this moveable cache while searching for Froglet's Big Day Out (GC17WTP) in a lovely park in Palmerston NT. I thought I'd located the GC cache until I checked the description, which confirmed I was searching for something else. I suspect that one or two previous finders have actually logged it on GC in error, thinking they found the other cache! Have provided updated coords as part of this log, but have not moved it on from where I found it. After recent heavy rain, it took a little bit of work to extract from its hiding spot, but after a quick wash nearby, log signing duties were completed and it was returned to its hide. WanderingAus wandered by on the way from Boddington to Narrogin on a maintenance run for a few of my caches. TomTom alerted me to the presence of this movable cache not far off my route, so I decided to move it on. I wasn't looking for it but I found the cache GC43299 bodo turnoff by Littlelisa22 first, before I found the frog for a very quick and easy GAFF 0 find.
I should make it to the GC47DF1 j & j Say G'Day to WA by jasenjanine Event on Sunday, and eill take it there if I don't find a nice swamp beforehand.
My Geocaching Australia Find number 2433, and overall find number 5346.

We have hidden this smart guy alongside Bodo Turnoff (GC43299). Hopefully he will be moved on soon. We have included a picture of Nanga Brook where we picked him up. Thanks for the opportunity.
We have never taken a 'moveable' cache before so this will be our first try. This very attractive frog had been spending some time in a delightful area near many other frogs. We will try to 'rehome' him/her in another suitable area.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Finally got out to my intended spot to drop this one off. Hopefully he will find a few frindly frogs around here to hang out with.
Found this little guy, all high and dry, long way from any froggy friends. Know just the place to drop him off. Will add the coords when I know he is safe and happy.
Dropped this pretty frog off finally, so that it can make its way interstate as originally planned when I picked it up... Thanks!
Well it's finally found another temporary home. He's now separated from his/her good friend and is now overlooking a Travel Bug Lounge hoping to pick up a lift interstate. All the best on your new journey - and apologies for having to sit in our backyard entertaining the local frog population.
Not sure what happened here but this little fella was keeping a local cache and another Frog company at a different location than that which it is logged at. (I found it at its previous location in Edgewater. Anyways - I'll move it on - not sure if these two frogs are lovebirds and have to stay together - or if they dont mind spending a bit of time apart......
Oops how embarassing. we must be blonde! saw these guys get dropped off but kept on forgetting to nab them. Finally Mr Felix to the rescue today.

AusHopper & Betty are now hanging out in Whiteman Park, keeping an eye on the train as it rumbled passed. I hope they enjoy this leap day but don't leap out of their hiding spot. Have fun!
so close to home that I couldn't resist heading out to pick up AusHopper & Betty. Found them on a leap day which is not only special but also very appropriate for a couple of "leapy" frogs Haha. Will drop off today in a fantastic park where they can catch up with some of their amphibious cousins. TFTH SL
Not far from home so I walked over and picked him and his mates up to move elsewhere
Dropped in a nice leafy spot with a couple of mates for company.
Picked up AusHopper and his two mates today with the grandchildren, they were very excited.

Not sure if it is in the rules or not, but it has been 11 days since I found this one and he has been stagnant for that long. I grabbed his resting buddy and decided to move him along as well. Hope I didn't do the wrong thing!!
This one is now at the base of the tree in the attached photo, over the road from where a fire went through recently and destryoed one of my GC caches!
Cheers

Aushopper is now resting in a Secret Park, at the base of a large gumtree, keeping King Harold company
Hello Aushopper, Mr. Wileyclan has left you in a Security area, and with no correct clearance, you have to move on. I will relocate this Frog to the mainland this afternoon, as was stated, it will be a "Secret" spot but easy to find.
Having a visit on Garden Island awaiting collection by rudi63

OK, so it took a while but I finally got this one!
I received the notification when K & C dropped it off but haven't really had the time to grab it. Always seemed to be something on. The only time I was close to here was when I was taking the geowife shopping for her birthday present, but apparently picking up frogs is not birthday acceptable - for her anyway
Today I left home a few minutes early so I could head this way before work. Parking the bike close by, I realised as I walked over the road that I could have actually parked right next to the frog. Arrival at ground zero, the GPSr actually said 0m and it was spot on.
AusHopper will have a short visit on Garden Island somewhere in the vicinity of rudi63's work before he heads for a 'Secret' location I assume
Thanks for the frog AusTrackers
Cheers

After the xmas party this frog found a nice resting place with another frog between the logs next to the large stump.
Joining some friends looking over a lovely frog pond.
Found, on the 3rd attempt. We found the coords were out so we have been looking at the base of the wrong trees.

Was out with the better half on a drive north of the river and, as we were passing, called in to find this frog.

Dropped little hopper off in a small park, close to some cafes.
What a cute little frog! I had to search for this one for quite a while before I finally uncovered him. I had some trouble coaxing the log sheet out of his belly, but got there in the end.
I will drop him in a new location very soon! Thanks for the froggy AusTrackers!

Found a nice spot under the reeds for this little guy in the middle of the two bridges. Won't be spotted by the nearby flock but will have to watch out for the curious ducklings though.
I just couldn't see him anywhere. Perhaps I didn't try hard enough? Will be keeping an eye out to see what happens.
Frog raid #2.
Sorry FelixII I decided to come up early and start around here once the frogs were published.
Thanks for the cache.

This was the 2nd closest froggy to our house and he was gone when we got there, guessing he has found a mate from nearby!
