Description
Manfred
Manfred was one of two frogs gifted to me by Mary Ann (thanks!). She made them herself so treat them gently and they just might make the distance. The great green paint job may make him a touch harder to find.
This cute little guy looks like he has a lot of patience. Maybe he's just waiting for the right cacher to come and move him along.
So as Manfred would say:
Tallyho...off to a new hiding spot!
This is a moving cache created for the Leapfrog Project game on www.cachinggames.com that runs from 1 December 2011 until 31 January 2012.
Moving-cache hiding tips:
- When you grab the cache please rehide it again elsewhere asap. 48 hours is a good guide but I know that life sometimes gets in the way.
- Log your find here on geocaching.com.au with a Found it log as soon as you can so others are not trying to find the cache you just moved.
- When you rehide the cache, log a Moved log and put the new coordinates in the "Add waypoint co-ordinates to log:" box. This allows the software to automatically update the new location.
Enter your co-ordinates in the format Sdd mm.mmm Eddd mm.mmm
You don't have to include the degrees or minutes symbols when entering updated co-ordinates but you should leave a space between the degrees and minutes.
Try a copy and paste of the example co-ordinates into the new co-ordinates box and type over them. - Add a hint for the new location in the Hints field when you enter the Moved log.
- Please look after this Frog.
- Wherever possible, try and keep to the difficulty / terrain rating as originally listed.
When you hide it somewhere new, please add a good hint to help seekers to find it.
Finally, have fun. I know I will.

Logs
This cache looks like it's MIA so we'll archive it to stop it turning up in the lists. If the cache is recovered the owner can place an unarchived log against it.
From the previous log I got the impression that Manfred was still there....just signed and not moved...but alas after 5 minutes I couldn't see him. The clue made sense for the co-ords, so that seemed ok.
Thanks anyway.....

Almost a whole week under this log... gee, they move much more slowly now the race is over. Time to move you on, Manfred, but not too far!

Out for a lunchtime frog run to drop off 4 frogs found out east and grab a few hidden around here. 4 frogs dropped along the creek but none found today. Manfred jumped under the bush near where another frog was supposed to be located but I'm assuming already moved.

A quick detour on the way home for a couple of caches and a couple of frogs. Will try to drop off tomorrow.
Manfred & frog friend were dropped off after work on the edge of a park.
Good luck froggie!

Place 2 frogs here today to hopefully continue their journey. This is close to one of the first caches we found in a spot we had never noticed before then.
This was one of the frogs that I Spotted and signed at Cape Patterson New Years Event.. We were down for the day and picked up a couple of caches, however as the temperature was well into the thirties we saved most of the caching for the evening.. Thanks for the frog and the visit to the event..

I spotted this frog at the Cape Paterson 2012 New Year's party hosted by pprass & Gonefishen07 Despite the extreme heat of the day (40 degrees), had great fun at the event and found a few racing frogs too.
Thanks to stagetree for the frog.

We had some Muggle friends over for New Years Eve and they were keen to go Frogging but by the time we got our act together it was dark lol so we came armed with torches and this time we happily made the find (after not being able to find the previous 2!!)
Manfred will go for a long trip tomorrow

A good spot for frogs this. You will find two huddling together here.
The water is not very reliable here, so lets hope they don't have to stay too long.
Use the hint for an easy find, otherwise, you might be a while.

We haven't been caching for a while, nor had we found any frogs, so today Geoson and I set out to rectify that and bagged 8 of these critters.
We were surprised to find two other frogs hiding with Manfred. Our first geocaching hat trick! Seems this is a popular spot.
Thanks stagetree. We'll move him on soon.

I had to go out and place five frogs at lunchtime today as I ran out of time last night with Xmas shopping and a nine year old Birthday party to attend. So today at lunch I find myself back at Wattle Park, a park I have attended a great many times these last few weeks, logging a couple of leapfrog caches and dropping of five others. Given the limited time I placed them all at the same location, this one. There are now SIX frogs sitting here having a chat waiting for someone else to come along and help them on their journey. Thanks it was a nice walk.
Once again I’m sitting at work looking for a lunchtime cache and I came across 5 leaping frogs at 11+ km from me. However the Monash Freeway would make the journey achievable in the limited time I had available. The freeway was running relatively slowly, and Burke Road was at a standstill, so when I got to the GZ location I found that I had very limited time. I parked close by and ran into the racecourse and grabbed all five frogs. How’s that, 1 hide, 5 frogs and 5 smilies. Now that’s cool. I will drop them all off somewhere later tonight when I go to collect some other leaping frogs close to home.

Dropped off not too far away but likely to be moved in a couple of days if not sooner.
Grabbed this froggie as the last for tonight. Maybe we can rehide him tonight.
Manfred followed the water around and got tired and found a spot for the night.
Found on this sunny afternoon in this popular frog habitat.

Dropped the first of three frogs in my care at a nice watery location.

My second frog for the day and happy to be active in the game again this year. This little fellow caused me some time as he was not immediately willing to reveal himself. I'll confess that I wondered if someone else has visited but after reading the hint I realised that he was a bit smaller than I suspected and had missed him in his hide.
Thanks stagetree, we will move him onto a new hide soon

After I long chat with Landau351 nearby I set off to hide the Leapfrogs I grabbed yesterday. FTF so was the FTH
At last! My first FTF!
I was in two minds whether to attempt this one, expecting it to have been grabbed already and not looking forward to heading into traffic chaos central. As it turned out, the traffic was quite reasonable, parking easy and this Leapfrog easily found after looking under a few of the yellow-flowered bushes. Logged and dropped one of my signature pathtags within. I'll move it on tomorrow.
