Description

Diamonds might be a frog's best friend...

But a rhinestone is a much cheaper and still sparkly alternative!  BLING FROG metamorphosed for the Leap Frog race.

As the sun sparkles off its bejewelled body...help it hop to other shiny/metallic spots that it can stick to.

I think that, given the frog race is over, that Bling can stay cool on my fridge door. Thanks everyone, it was fun!

I'd forgotten about an earlier discussion about the possibility of Bling Frog finding his way back to me. I was just so relieved to get back to my car after a great big walk, that it was a big pleasant surprise to find Bling when I went to open the door! Thanks nutwood!

Travelled to a lovely Camping spot South of Penguin with me after work. We camp there every year. Wanted to show the family the cute little frog i caught in Latrobe. But Bling jumped out of the ute and hid in the Fernery at the camp ground. I hope it's going to be ok?

Found this frog far from where it was placed. It (apparently) hopped into a bag and was put into the NTrailTB and transported to Launceston where it has been partying and seeing in the New Year in comfort at a swank motel room. These partying frogs were given a choice of wine or beer or mixed spirits.....
Once they recover, we will put them back out.

geo kid e, geo kid o and myself decide it was the boys turn to go for a frog hunt. We were successful though most of the north west and north a few days previously, so a trip south was in order to grab the frogs placed out by Makky Brown

Anyway here is my log signature

‘I joined a motley crew of explorers, eight of us in total, and we headed over the mountains to the east. We lost one on the way over due to fatigue but the rest of us made it! We came across an idyllic location, a froggy oasis, to rest before continuing our journey. ‘

Thankfully this little critter now has a more delicious (albeit temporary) home. GPS may be a little out but follow the frog prints and they'll lead you down the right path.

Very Happy what a cute little critter...but I think he jumped far too high up for this vertically challenged ClanMember. Had to mimic the weirdest looking jumping frog just to reach him. Will move him along shortly and make sure he is closer to the ground for those of us who don't have so far to fall. TFTC.

Bling is safe in my hands now. As a frog collector (and I have the tattoo to prove it) this race is very hard as I want to give all these wayward frogs a good home but I have been good and sent them on their merry way just as I will with Bling tomorrow

Hi Dippi
Had some fun finding this little cutie!!
Was sitting at Mum's looking at the frog caper throughout southern Tasmania and noticed this cache was not too far from Huonville. Then a chance to get two for one was too good to pass up.
Into the cache mobile and a quick trip to Bonnet Hill hoping all the way no one else had been an early bird.
Arrived at ground zero and walking up the track looking for "Falling Rocks". None around except for those at the beginning of the walk. Time to think a little and decided to read the sign and a light bulb moment occured. Good cryptic clue Greenish, very good!!
Grabbed the pole to get up to a good height to search and my hand knocked something off the sign pole. It fell in the dark soil below and took a few minutes to find because of its colour. Like other cachers, I wouldn't like to be responsible for loosing this little ripper, but nearly was, sorry. Alls well that ends well!
Found this critter and the nearby neighbour at 1000hrs without any muggle interference.
Thanks Dippi for a great little croaker and to you Greenish for a great hide and find.
Will have her back out as soon as my other duties are finished later this afternoon.
TFTC and cheers; OldSaint.

My first find after finishing work at midnight. I think I scared away a car full of cachers who pulled up just in front of me and kept checking behind to see what I was doing. When I didn't leave they did lol. An easy find. Tftc
