Description
Please Return me to Hobart
I am Geo Kid I entry in the Leapfrog cache race of 2011 / 2012. I am a small frog ready to jump. Although I am not tiny I have magnets on my base so I can be placed in many locations. You don’t have to use the magnets; they are just there if you need them!
There is no log book, simply record your find on the GCA web site and also record your new location and hint via a “move” log on the same web site.
Have fun and keep on croaking (caching)

I searched for this little friend and the previous hider has searched as well. Unfortunantly he is gone and with nobidy logging a find for a fortnight I will archive him and he can go to the big frog pond in the sky.
We had two reasons for walking up beside New Town Creek today; one was to deposit three moveable caches we had recently picked up from Knocklofty. The other was to locate the New Town Rivulet Track series. We started near New Town Rivulet Track #3 and tiny “Leaps the Frog” was dropped off near here.
It is hoped the creek doesn’t flood before Leaps gets found and moved again

A message came through that Kirby the Frog could not be found so we planned a walk to check this out. Before going, however, Peter looked at the web site and noticed that several other moveable caches had just been planted in the area, so some of these were downloaded to the GPS. This meant we could check that Kirby was there, collect some more and get in a walk and a stop in Lansdowne Crescent for a coffee. To top that off the day was very pleasantly sunny.
Leaving the car near Fielding Drive we were quickly up to the frog ponds on Knocklofty and found that Kirby was in fact at home.
From there it was a short distance to “Leaps the Frog” and “Freddo” which were both quickly located. “Woodleigh Gnome” had been down as one to collect when he was at the Waterworks, but someone beat us, and he was one of those dropped off here. This was more of a challenge as it was up through the bush and when the GPS settled down a suspicious bit of bark in a tree hollow took our attention. What was unexpected was finding “Touring Teddies” also in the same hidey hole.

Moved a bit closer to home in familiar territory !

Cute little Leaps was huddling for warmth with all the others, so he was grabbed and put with all the others !
Thanks budgietas !
Thanks budgietas !
I was somewhat underwhelmed at the prospect of looking for micro and nano frogs in the bush with no hints.
Thankfully, all three of these were hidden on obvious features, though there were other obvious features whithout frogs, so searching still took a little while.
I've got quite a collection now, so I'll have to create a frog power trail down my way.

Sorry for the delay but have been laid up with a work injury for about 6 weeks and haven't been abe to go caching. In a new home now
Taken all the frogs and a couple of gnomes for a drive up the East Coast to Scamander. They'll all be here for a little while. Don't bother looking cuz Tim Tam is going to find them all....
Found this frog hiding at the base of a large bush (very large bush) along with Gorf and Trust. Going to wander around and duck out to Longford to grab another couple of frogs on the way back to Hobart.
Ended up with 12 frogs and 2 gnomes for the trip back south.
Will release back into the wild soon

Left him with some company in a cute little memorial park.
My most humblest apologies for an entry error. Now corrected.
Went and had a further check yesterday. Managed to access GZ as the gate was open for the builders. Spoke to the owner of the property and located the exact spot which is about a metre inside his loungeroom to be.
I think the co-ordinates need to be checked for this one!

As per Guripper and DGT, we couldn't get to GZ. Is this a park? It appears to be 7 Carnarvon St.
Put this frog out in a park to enjoy some shade.
Grabbed him from the event. He needs to sit in the sun on our balcony and enjoy the view while he fully dries. A cute little frog that has been through the wars, but he is battle hardened and ready to fight on.
Cheers Quilter

Repaired and returned to the wild at the event
Found Leaps when finding other frogs at the location. Decided that he needs his magnet replacing, so I took him. Got him to work and half destroyed him in getting the old (non functioning magnet) off.
He is now at home with Jaunting Jon in the recovery ward with further surgery required.
I will get him back out shortly

This frog has been captured and taken by Postal Frog to a post box. Not a red post box but a green letter box which should help them hide.
Found where he shouldn't be hanging. Electricity and frogs don't mix. His legs were straight out!
Headed to Huonville just off the Southern Outlet.
Hi Budge

Leaps wanted to get out and about quickly. So, we found him a good hide in the warm afternoon sun.
Easy find took a while to work out how to reach GZ but enjoyed the journey TFTF

Leaps is ready and waiting at his new home. He has a great view from here but may start to feel lonely after too long. Look for "402796" Don't forget Leaps is magnetic!!!!
A very quick find without the GPSr. Just rocked up and parked and got out and found it.
Thanks for the frog

He's back out deciding in which direction to go. Everywhere he looks is lovely froggy water....he just can't make up his mind.

Yay! Found a little frog! Only a small detour on the way to work and found him after widening the search a little from where the GPS was pointing. The little cutie has a little bit of bark of his knees but he didn't seem to mind it. TFTF.
Very sneaky putting 2 frogs together lol. I logged the other in this location and couldn't initially work out why I still had a green dot. Then located this chappie. Tftc
