Description

No. 46 The Doctor

Valentino Rossi, (born February 16, 1979) is an Italian professional motorcycle racer and multiple MotoGP World Champion. He is one of the most successful motorcycle racers of all time, with nine Grand Prix Championships to his name – seven of which are in the premier class.

Rossi started racing in Grand Prix in 1996 for Aprilla in the 125cc category and won his first World Championship the following year. From there, he moved up to the 250cc category with Aprilla and won the 250cc World Championship in 1999. He won the 500cc World Championship with Honda in 2001, the MotoGP World Championships (also with Honda) in 2002 and 2003, and continued his streak of back-to-back championships by winning the 2004 and 2005 titles after leaving Honda to join Yamaha, before regaining the title in 2008 and retaining it in 2009 He left Yamaha to join Ducati for the 2011 season. Rossi is first in all time 500cc/MotGP race wins standings, with 79 victories, and second in all time overall wins standings with 105 race wins.

Valentino is a very agressive rider but recently has "ambition has exceeded his ability" a number of times and he has crashed out many times this year. He has an intense rivalry with Australian Casey Stoner.

This moveable cache is racing in the Leapfrog Competition . MotoGP riders regularly ride at speeds of 300kph and love to ride motorbikes so please move him along quickly and far:)

Please move him along within 2 days as per the Leapfrog rules/guidelines so he has a chance to win.

After you sign the log book, please move the cache to a secure place, well out of sight of muggles, but in a spot that's quite easy to find. And leave a very clear clue for the next finder.

Looked around while picking up some of the others. Found nothing but the remains of a shopping bag.

07-Sep-13
We stopped by to check on this frog today as we were in the area, but could not find him. In his place was a zip-lock bag containing a Summer Roll bar, and the remains of a couple of biscuits. He may have been picked up by a cacher, but looks like he might have been stolen. Crying or Very sad

Valentino took a quick blast up Bains Road, but couldn't make up his mind which way to go once he reached Piggot Range Road. He decided to sit and contemplate his next move under a nice shady tree.

03-Mar-12
We were very surprised to find this cache still in situ, as we could see it from the car, but then again we knew what we were looking for.

Valentino Rossi will hitch a ride back with us to Adelaides Southern suburbs where we will release him in the next few days.

Thanks Purplepeopleater.

Valentino stopped at this road train assembly area to sort out his vehicles but was left behind.

He found the largest shrub near here to wait out in the shade

Picked up this froggy on a stinking hot summer's evening with promises of spending the night in air conditioned comfort. Little does he realise he is going to be press ganged into helping us finish cleaning out our house tomorrow before being taken on a drive and dropped off on Tuesday Twisted Evil

Seeking speed, Valentino Rossi has pulled into the pits near the "astronaut series" of roads in Modbury North. McIntyre Road is right nearby and should give him the rush he needs to go on his way.
He is feeling a bit sunburnt right now Ribbit so is hiding in the shade.

28-Dec-11
Valentino Rossi was easier to get than Jorge Lorenzo, but there were many muggles at GZ, and the kids were laughing at some weirdy guy looking at his phone, holding a frog statue under one arm. I would have run away myself, but it's a bit tricky when you're entering coordinates into a GPS with a frog under one arm... Embarassed
