I found myself with some time after work and was pleased to discover a few caches on the way into town. Very Happy

When I got back to my car I was surprised to find the Tassie Trekkers waiting... Didn't we do this just a couple weeks ago?

28-Jan-12
Found this frog and many others during a frog raid encompassing The Domain, Howrah, South Hobart and Mount Stuart.
In all, 47 frogs and a gnome were recovered and they will be placed out in the bush tomorrow. Maybe we'll take them to Cockle Creek, NO. Strathgordon or the old Hilton Hotel at Adamsfield! YES. They are good places.

Come with a shopping bag, as there is a small army of frogs to be had in this area. Bring the dog, bring the kids and have fun searching.

This frog attended the dragonology picnic party event held by swampy the dragon watcher. An enjoyable day was held by all and swampy took the frogs away to feed his dragon a home?

20-Jan-12
Found this frog on a trip back from Launceston to Hobart. I will relocate back to Hobart, most likely on the domain.

Mr Frog jumped out of the pond one day
And found himself in the rain
Said he, "I'll get wet and I might catch a cold."
So he jumped in the pond again.

Found Cadbury another bridge. Interesting bridge and associated works. I've never climbed down to have a look before. Safest approach would be from Hobart Rd. Ribbit

17-Jan-12
This one gave me an interesting hunt. GZ was a bridge, the description was a "cool, dark spot" and the hint was "under". Only problem was that the side of the bridge the GPS fancied was fenced off to form part of the grounds of the adjacent house. Hmmm!
After much investigation of anything for a 30 m radius that could possibly have an "under" and an investigation of the other side of the bridge (ploughing through waist deep blackberries did inspire the thought that I should have left this one for Duripper and DGT Very Happy )I eventually gave in to temptation and climbed over the fence to make an easy find under the bridge. Bit embarrassing as I hate people climbing our fences. EmbarassedRibbit

He was gbetting too fat with all the chocolate so I have placed him in a cool dark spot, where hopefully he will go back to a more suitable diet for a frog.

Oh my. Talk about a moaner. All this frog did was complain about the lack of chocolate. It appears no one has been feeding him any chocolate and boy did we hear about it. On and on he moaned and groaned.

Well we fixed him! The biggest chocolate factory we could find! It seems fairly quiet at the moment but keep any eye on the news. There may be a breaking news story about a dinosaur defending the chocolate factory from a marauding frog!

Arrived at gz thinking I was searching for freddo. Anyway thought I have no chance in the bush looking for a nano (that freddo is). As it started to rain, thunder and lighting I saw something strange. A frog - but not freddo. Oh, the light bulb lit and I worked out I wasn't looking for freddo. The frog was relatively easy to find.

Cadbury asked to be taken to the place he described as 'Heaven' - so this is where I left him.

07-Dec-11
This feels somewhat familiar.....

I found Cadbury here a couple of days ago, and now he's back. Obviously Anvers appeals - even if it's not cadbury chocolate.

Will drop him off tonight or tomorrow to continue his quest to find the ultimate chocolate stash!

Very nice frog will have to keep our eye on him as not sharing any chocolate with him. We need all the strength we can get to find more frogs. Topped him up with a glass and a half of milk though so ready for his next adventure.

05-Dec-11
Feeling a little foolish now Smile
Searched high and low to no avail. I wonder if I've been beaten to the punch?

to add insult to injury I was in this very spot last night without realising this was here Sad

Bit of a cannibal this one. Polished off a chocolate frog (after checking the brand) and is now resting near the Supply River. The mill was a bit muggly so we went a little further and popped him on top of the old dam wall.

04-Dec-11
Just down the road, how could we resist! What a great frog. Offered him some Lindt but it got rejected. Seems to be a loyal company frog!
We'll get him back out there this afternoon

Cadbury Frog ate my years supply of chocolate overnight! Had to drop him off before he demanded some more.

Asked him where he wanted to go - and he said somewhere famous. I suggested the Batman Bridge, but he said that wasn't famous enough. "How about a tree that the StigGnome hid in last year?" I suggested.

Sure enough - apparently the SigGnome is a bit of a hero to frogs as well.

You'll find Cadbury sitting in a tree - so look up!

The one saving grace for those mean Y's Tassies is they left me here at Anvers - wouldn't take me in to the tasting room to try the fudge and truffles though. I hope the next group to collect me buy me some vanilla fudge before they pick me up. I dont mind raspberries and cheese but cadbury chocolate is best.

01-Dec-11
Keep going says the cricket fanatic and after a short hunt out from behind a fence comes a very grumpy frog complaining that his owner turfed him out because he beat her to the chocolate. "And don't expect me to come with you if you don't have chocolate" Needless to say we promised chocolate (might only be the cooking type but he doesn't know that yet). Another FTF. A great frog Chocolate - Ali proving Chicken Feed does come up with the goods. Progressive Frog Bowling figures 3-0-9-2.
