Description
"FelixII's Frog Hunter" was an entrant in the moveable cache race running from 1st December 2011 to 31st January 2012. (yeah, yeah, not quite a frog? We ordered 2 frogs online and this came in the box aswell. Were deciding what to do with him, when this became the obvious option??)
He is a reasonable size. He is a little more camouflaged than our other entrants! He has a log attached that is in the bison tube attached, please remember to sign the log and replace it before moving him on.
Well the race has been run & won, so now our little Frog Hunter is just chasing frogs and great photo opportunities to send pics home!

Not aware that this one had been struck off the list, I called in this morning for a look. No sign of the cache or the item mentioned in the hint.
I was going to suggest that it had maybe moved across the road.........into the cementery

This cache looks like it's MIA so we'll archive it to stop it turning up in lists and queries. If it resurfaces then the owner can resurrect it by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.
Well I tried. Got to gz and spotted a few fallen trees. Kept on searching but the mozzies almost carried me home. Hasnt been found for a while. Hope it was just me and that it still is there somewhere
Four months under a rock is not good for a croc so picked him up & now back down the coast.

Now in Mittagong close to the Hume, a regular frog/gnome drop off point.
Well may he have been camoed at one stage but found him out in the open, mirrors reflecting what little sunlight got through the clouds. He is now in the Highlands with a frog & a gnome for company - pity them both.

Little blue grabbed this at Rats event - then it disapeared into the spatial/temporal vacuum that is his lair - apparently growing his hair to match the doctor isnt enough - his room is also a tardis! Finally placed near a GC cache on the 02/12/2012 - and promptly forgot about logging it. Mmmm pretty average effort.
Anyhow - sorry for the snafu - blue_mars

Should be an easy find. Two frogs in the same general area.
High chance of a muggle spotting you but who cares when it is a moveable?

Down and in the hands of another cacher
Well that wasnt what I was expecting to find in a bag of frogs! What a bonanza, met Black Bunny this morning and he was kind enough to share the frogs he'd collected over the weekend. It doesnt get much easier than this!
Thanks for the froggy fun!

A quick grab with Just a cacher and Candy Cane 101 on a run up to Sydney to catch up with blossom* and Strike a Light. A pub dinner was called for and an impromptu Frog gathering occured. After all frogs had been fed and watered it was time for them to hop off.

Off to the pub for dinner with some friends and a looooong trip to Canberra
Found 'Felix II's Frog Hunter' with a number of his Mates waiting for a lift to Canberra, let's hope it will be a smooth and painless !operation. Quite the gathering there all those Frogs do get a bit vocal when competing for attention.

He is now behind the signs, new cache at this location so be quick.
went looking for another cache and found him snapping at my heal , will move on - love him!! if only he could get rid of toads as well!!
This hunter scampered off when I stopped to pick up a cache. He is hiding and waiting for his next victim.
Left in Gloria Park, Hazelbrook for a Frog Power Trail.
Met this frog at the event, great to see so many frogs and cachers!

A frog with extremely good built-in camo?
This was one of many frogs (as well as a few gnomes) that came along to boot Zalgariath back to Europe at ZEAMMAFF. Things were really hopping as more and more frogs arrived during the afternoon, by the time the event had finished, over 55 movables had hopped onto the table. Of course, with that many frogs hopping around in one place, something was bound to happen, and one poor gnome was bumped to the ground, requiring a trip to gnome hospital and a serious stay there, but the less said about that the better.

The frog hunter is hungrily waiting his next meal. Felix loves to watch from up above.
Found Felix happily guarding both the gnome and frog. I was a bit perplexed as to which house and felt a little uncomfortable about walking into the garden but then I spotted Gno-mad grinning at me and all was well.

Hmmm Frog Hunter travelling in my bag with 9 other Frogs was making the whole lot of them uneasy
So I had to be ousting him asap! I gave him to Gno-Mad to keep an eye on and guard againts eating any of the other entrants He is now in my front yard, just a few paces down the driveway. You are welcome to visit and grab him, and do wander around the back and say hello if the light is on!
Feel free to take Gno-Mad and the other frog with you too!

Well that was not expected! This notification came up as I was already on a frog hunt. As it was only a few km away I zoomed of on my bike and grabbed the dangerous looking fellow!

'Felix' has been released from the Clwydd hospital after his surgery, an amazing recovery, he is now as good as new.
he wanted a nice restful spot for a little rest and this is where he chose to be.

Frog Hunter will now undergo his reconstructive surgery at Clwydd Hospital and soon be able to hunt frogs again -- around Lithgow!
Nice to encounter the Frog Hunter again, but too bad about the sore foot. I might have a go at some minor first aid, but then again, he might have to travel up to Clwydd for some serious rehabilitation.
We shall see!

Dropped him off at the infamous Bifrost site where he headed straight for pjmpjm's car and up the Blue Mtns for repairs!
Picked him up again as there was nothing in the four trunk spot so I headed up here. He seems to have suffered an injury in the back of the car though. I would repair him but it would be bodgy. I think this requires the services of renowned gnome repairer, rogerw3. Will try and put him in a place where he may head towards Lithgow.
Geoson dropped this monster off whilst on a bike ride to Fred Caterson eserve - good riddence I say, now I can bring some more frogs home in safety
I stuck my hand in the usual place looking and feeling around for frogs and this nasty guy latched onto my finger and started to "death roll" me. I fought him into the car and will move him on swiftly away form all my Dural frog buddies.

Moved 'Crikey!' to a familiar spot in Dural. Behind the waterfall, under some leaves.
'The Frog Hunter' thought this was a great spot to ambush unsuspecting frogs, unfortunately for him the 4 occupants of the hole saw him coming and jumped in my bag away from him.
Please take him to a more frog friendly place.

'Frog Hunter' has been taken, he is joining some new mates and they will all move together tomorrow to new locations.

Moved him to a very historic place, near Lithgow.
Hope he'll get a lift soon . . .

My first thought was, "Finally, a boyfriend for Lizzy!"
Felix II was right out in the open, no doubt hunting the local amphibians, so a grabbed him and put him in the back seat of the GeoBuru2.
Will decided on Thursday where to place him, to maximise his travel.
But what a shame that Lizzy has come and gone and there's no chance for the two to meet . . .

Ironically spent some time indoors over the past few days with recent rain around Sydney. Helped in cleaning out the rodents from the backyard shed ... yum
Time to move on and look for more froggies
Nice piece of work
Please move this hunter on quickly !!!!!

Thanks to Xinders & JustinCBR for organising our cache to head East. We are really enjoying reading all the logs as they come in. He does seem to be having a great trip over there meeting lots of cachers! Just watch him near those froggies.
Thanks again!
Thanks again!
Will move this hungry critter on shortly. He should be headed a little more north.

I saw a few of these when we were in Perth chasing gnomes. What is this, an invasion from the west?

Felix was chasing Galoomph into the garden and got stuck in the branches of the daisy bush. Lucky! Otherwise we'd a have a very fat Frog Hunter and a rather squished Galoomph
This was a funny story (ie stop reading now or you'll be bored!!) I noticed this Frog Hunter had mysteriously appeared overnight and it seemed he was trying to catch and eat all the local frogs Since that seemed a bit against the spirit of the game, I decided to do my civic duty and hunt him myself.
So I hopped off the train and approached GZ just as a workman strolled by peering into the trees. Oh no, maybe another cacher has beaten me? But no, he was just checking to see what trees needed to be lopped.
So I checked the gps and when I got to 0m I dived into the garden (in black skirt, stylish blouse and sandals) and started to rummage in the leaves. I quickly turned up a cloth that seemed to have something wrapped in it. Great! But no It was just a hi-vis work shirt that someone had discarded.
mm, maybe that's not the right tree. So I tried another one that seemed to suit the cluse a bit better. About now, with my head down in the grass clumps, a number of people walked by on their way to work They probably all wondered what on earth the weird lady was doing but being polite (and living in a huge faceless city), nobody enquired
I decided I might need to call someone for help and as I wandered around looking at my phone for the right number, I noticed a much better prospect for GZ. Dived in again and sure enough, there was a little pointy bit poking out of the leaves
I plan to drop the Frog Hunter off waaaaay away from any frogs. Otherwise, what will be left for me to play with all summer?

A minor injury, involving a detached limb, which I found quilter unpacking my bag at home -must have occurred during flight, but raced back to where it was dropped off and easily repaired with superglue.
Not like any frog I've seen before, but hungry for frogs, this one has travelled to the east coast in search of prey. Dropped near a local frog exchange site, but not too close so that it doesn't eat them.
Just moved a little bit, but signed his log, and hopefully he gets his lift to Sydney.
Found this *cough* frog, but as per the note, only moved him a very short distance and hopefully he makes it to Sydney.
Thanks for the cache FelixII!

Found this guy when retrieving a couple of frogs. Respected the note on him and left for someone traveling to Sydney.
2pm .... Have dropped him off over here, hoping he gets a ride to Sydney. He is in the middle bush ... behind the red object. (Please remove his tag, once he gets picked up.) Thank you!! Happy travelling!!

9.15pm Yay! We have the Frog Hunter! It was dark and we had to use a flashlight. MWS came with me for moral support which was great. We got to GZ and I wasn't sure about putting my hand in to reach for it for I caught a glimpse of a body part and it looked like something else. What a surprise ... and what a relief!! Thanks for the cache!!

Dropped in this cache in place of another just picked up.
Frog raid #5.
Came up early before they were published to have a raid.
I tried for the other listed one but it had already been found when I checked so walked over to this one and found this one instead.
Thanks for the cache.
