Description

Half of me may leapfrog the other half!

I am Half a Happy Frog, please don't loose the other half of me!The Happy Half Hopper

I would like to hop around to half way houses, semi-arid gardens and anywhere else that a happy frog can hang-out!

Please keep it together.

 I am participating in the 2011 Leapfrog Moving Cache Race, so please;

   1. Take me with you - I love to travel!

   2. Hop in to create a "Found" log, so others don't come looking for me.

   3. Sign your initials in my log book - keep it small because my owner won't be able to replace it easily!

   4. Find a new field, pond, bush, hollow or log and hide me quickly!

   5. Hop back again and create a "Moved" log!  All done .. time to find another frog!

Go to - http://www.cachinggames.com/leapfrog/ - to check out the race!

This bisectable frog is now loitering in the suburb of Bonnet Bay. It;s in a very picturesque reserve, and right next to a walking trail. Only a couple of steps from the last step, on your left.

We got this elusive littler hopper this time!

He was very well hidden, and initially I thought it'd be taken again, but Mrs J soon spotted it. Unfortunately Mr. Hopper is missing a leg, but other than that, it's still in good condition. There isn't much room left on the log scroll.

This moveable is in the back of our car with thirteen other moving caches. They're all about to head off on a road trip to Sydney. Dancing

Thanks HGL.

Doh! Another moveable that we've been beaten to. We saw a pattern developing, so aborted our walk to the next moving cache further down this track.

Incidentally, we had another moveable loaded in the GPSr that actually got picked up about 9 months ago from the same location. Why can't cachers re-hide moveables?!?

12-Mar-16
Found as we headed back to Crafers West in the early afternoon. Accurate coordinates and the hint led to a quick find. The cache and contents were in good condition. We will move it on soon.

Thanks for the RibbitRibbit HGL, I will drop him off in a new location very soon.

16-Mar-13
I came to look for the Happy Half Hopper today. I parked the car at the nearby service station, and walked all the way in here on the very soft sandy tracks.

I spent a while at GZ looking at various trees, both off the ground and at ground level, as well as generally looking around, and I couldn't find the frog.

With the end of the race in sight I decided tonight I'd travel north outside my usual daily caching range to grab one last Leapfrog (Frobbin the Flawless Frog) and a couple of regular GC.com caches. It turned out HHH, who I have found before, was hiding with Frobbin so I grabbed them both and the gaps in muggle traffic are pretty short here and I just wanted to make my getaway!

We thought Frobbin's owner would like it if we rehid her straight away so we dropped Happy Half Hopper and Frobbin off on the way home from finding a GC cache tonight. We put Happy half Hopper into a ziplock bag as the magnets have come unglued and we thought he'd be safer that way!
Happy Travels Happy Half Hopper!!
