Rules (not guidelines)
- The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days
move on popstar as quick as possible to keep him alive in the leap frog race.
it is prefferable that you make your moved log seperate to your found it log as it allows other cachers to get notified of its movements.
enjoy
Logs
I've contacted the last logger/go see and they are going to find out what happened to this and other caches. Will update when I know
This geocache appears to be MIA so stop it clogging of the search lists we'll archive this one. If the owner can confirm it is in place the listing can be resurrected by placing an "unarchived" log against it.
In the hands of a local cacher now for 3.5 years.....probalby long enough to wait for it be to be relocated.
With the current May-tenance month underway to clean up our database, this one should probably be archived

NO LONGER AT THESE CO ORDINATES BUT IN THE HAND OF A LOCAL CACHER.
This one and his friends have been handed over to a local cacher as some of them are unique and can not be just left in the bush. About time I found a spot to hide this one and I decided that I had better get a move on and as I had three to hide closer to civilisation for the 2013/2014 moveable Cache race today was the day.

Will Move this one on soon.
Found very close to home with the assistance of some very friendly ACT cachers. Do not get to find too many of this type of cache as not that many are hidden or come to my part of Queensland. Thanks for the novel cache (moveable. ) Signed log YOF as this is what I use on small logs instead of youngoldfella. Will Move this one on soon.

Well that explains it. It was picked up on Thursday and not logged until today...
Dropped off while doing the august streak and finding nearby cache
grabbed from SDL, handed off , got a whole bunch of movables now looking for some likely places to drop them
An interesting frog this one....
Spotted this one (after missing it on our visit to his last hidey hole) while being transported to another local who will re-locate shortly.
Thanks for the continued fun of the moveables.

With Black Bunny in the mountains, rounding up gnaughty gnomes. It was very windy and consequently fairly cool, but fun!

Found on a second day forage within the Gnomelands ... fearful of retribution from the Disenchanted Gnomes, taken in hand only for a photo op. Popstar Frog appeared to be content where he is. TFTC

popstar frog has joined with a group of disenchanted Gnomes in the occupation of this tract of land, the aim being to secede from Australia and create their own independent country.
However with Gnomes in charge this may turn into a dictatorship, it remains to see if emmigration is greater than immigration.

popstar frog has joined a mass exodus of moveables led by renegade Gnomes, who knows what they plan to do? They are all in hiding for now while hatching their nefarious plans. No point looking for any of them they are nowhere to be found until they are ready to reveal their ultimate goal.

Great to find this moveable!
Thanks to the CO and everyone who moved it up here to the mountains, including Tronador . . .
Left it in place for others to move . . .

Rescued, still smiling up at me, glad to be in a warm place waiting for his next secret mission.
popstar is croaking away with mates in the Newington Wetlands
Nothing like standing on the front verandah watching the storm roll in, only to see Zal walking up with a frog under one arm and a gnome in the other. popstar was very lucky not to cop a drenching as he huddled under cover while the heavens opened. He is currently inside sleeping peaceful in the spare room, with his gnomey friend.

Popstar noticed a few friends were having a gathering at Tronador's place and that her frog friendly garden was the place to be. So it was time for a concert. Perfect weather for a croak too as we watched a big electrical storm from the porch!
Found with my boy Zalgar.
Sorry, Im so far behind with my logs Ive decided to cut'n'paste to catch up!

Popstar came on a lovely walk with us today and thought it was a good area to take a nice holiday. Park at S33 41.775 E150 33.512 and walk down to the trailhead. About 20 metres along the track there is a small track off to the left and popstar is in a big tree stump just there.
Picked him up and took him for a ride to Dural
Found in the company of alfyboy, near Perrys Lookdown Blackheath, NSW -- in the Blue Mountains.
We were just on our way to the Bee Gees . . .

Found him on my way around Hornsby. Raced down almost to the creek before realising he was near the track. Will move him on soon.

Popstar is now appearing near a creek in Hornsby. Frogs from across the valley are gathering for the performance.
Coords pointed to a lot of open ground where a frog would get sunburnt. With no hint to help, I searched likely spots in the dense lomandra plantation a few metres away. It looked like Popstar could be MIA but a lucky glance a few metres further away spotted a flash of his scarf. He looks really pleased to have a new audience.

The last of the pack of 4 I left up here, the crowd of frogs happily took over guarding the tree from the previous mob that was here before.
Popstart is rather large so he's not too hard to see. The "path" is rather a little clear gap in the bushy grassy clumps that goes just 4-5 metres from the open grass of the park, through the long bushy part to the concrete of the sea wall. Popstar is standing up, immediately to the right of this small track, under an isopogon shrub as you get near the sea wall.
If you look at the google map view up close, it is pretty well accurate as to where he is (remembering that there is a lot more growth now in the garden area)

I got soaking wet, from both the rain and mainly from the wet plants but no frog. The hint does not match the area the coords lead you to. There is no path and the only thing to the right is the water. I'm starting to think that maybe these coords were set by a phone, if so that explains the inaccuracy. I've found phone coords to be anything but accurate.
Judging by the other frogs left with similar coords by the last hider, and all the trouble everyone has been having trying to find these frogs ,could these coords be checked please.
This experience was annoying rather than pleasant.

As I was just about home, I realised the popstar was still in the back of the car fast asleep! I stopped off here and pushed him out where he rolled behind a log
I met popstar frog at blossom*s this morning. He heard we were off to the mountains for the day but was so exhausted from playing all night that he just slept in the car as we drove along!

Another encounter with this guy But then, popstars are like that, aren't they

'popstar' has arrived in Lithgow and will have a short rest before he resumes his travels back to the big smoke. He said he did not mind traveling in such a big tour group!

Clwydd may even be on the itinerary . . .
No doubt transportation will be arranged back to Sydney in due course!

After a very exciting night of frog discussion, my frog guests had determined that they wanted to be taken on a complete tour of Bicentennial Park today becasue they'd heard that it was chock-a-block full of froggie food
It had been torential rain during the night and another big downpour was in progress as I prepared for the day's excursion (this is like an essay in primary school, isn't it? ) Well, to cut to the chase, it was agreed that they could each choose a spot to be dropped as we did the tour.
Popstart frog was second to go, I think his big bulk tired him out quite quickly, or maybe he spied lotf of yummy flies in the mangroves here

I arrived at blossom*s place this morning, ready for a relaxing Sunday and a cup of tea. But as I came in the door, a huge din of froggie rabble rushed over, all clamouring to meet me and wanting to be shown the sights and taken to the best eating spots. Guess I'd better oblige

Oh my goodness! How did this guy get through the audition with his size? I had understood the selection criteria included being SMALL and popstart frog is definitely not that
After a number of PM negotiations and 21 text messages from lemmykc (only someone from the modern youth can text that fast!), I was crawling though the undergrowth at the gates to the Royal Botanical Gardens on a summer Saturday evening of the Sydney Festival. If anyone noticed lemmykc in there, I am sure they would have disregarded the sight as "kids getting up to who-know-what" but someone a little older (like me!) may not have been quite so easily ignored. "Some weird homeless lady" they probably thought
As I dived into the greenery, I heard a lot of rustling Goodness knows who else is in here, I thought and peered around in the 6pm gloom. Maybe rats? But it was very loud rustling Maybe a real homeless person? When I first explored this area for a good spot, there had been no sign of this sort of problem
But after a few frightened minutes, a "tip bird" revealed itself (ibis)and I settled in to gather up the frogs. This took a heap longer than I expected to be in the bushes and it also turned out that the 2 big shopping bags I had brought were not enough and they were overflowing with bits of frogs hanging out the top everywhere!
I had to sit on the grass next to the gardens and repack everything which must have been a very strange sight But the long and the short of it is that no security staff stopped me and this guy came home with me on the train, although gooness knows how I fitted him in

gmj3191 was very kind and he decided to go pick up around 10 frogs so I can take them to Sydney So he then dropped them into my backyard (almost literally!). And now this froggie gets to go on a trip to Sydney!!!

Moved to an audition queue, to see if he'll get taken to Sydney by lemmykc. Don't bother looking here, as lemmykc will grab him in a flash.
I found him with his buddy. Sitting on top of then both was a brush tailed possum.
I have attached his picture to this log.

We've had a few frogs in our house overnight and geee they make a racket! So this evening Mrs Facit and I packed a bag of frogs and headed for a spot nearby that was a good Gnome hide last year. This spot was perfect for a couple of larger frogs so "popstar frog" and "#2 Hoes ya Hamish Burger Frog" happily settled in to wait for the next finder. I hope popstar is happy here? There's no entourage for him so he'll have to survive without bottled water for a day or two!
Thanks ikkibrady

Wattle Park has become a repeat frog hunting ground for me. I came back today as I thought I needed to stretch the legs at the start of my Christmas break. The walk around was very pleasant and as the temperature was climbing the park was pretty quiet, which suited me!
Having grabbed a bundle of frogs not 100m away I was not really ready to see such a big specimen, my Frog bag was already pretty full but I had anticipated such a problem and my frog bag contained another bag, so popstar was treated as a star and had his own personal vehicle!
Thanks ikkbrady, I'll hide him again soon

I had to go out and place five frogs at lunchtime today as I ran out of time last night with Xmas shopping and a nine year old Birthday party to attend. So today at lunch I find myself back at Wattle Park logging a couple of leapfrog caches and dropping of five others. Given the limited time I placed them all at the same location, but this is not it. I just logged this one and placed it back. It’s a nice big frog, but I had trouble getting the log book out. Thanks it was a nice walk.

I dropped a couple more Leapfrogs off in the bushland section of Wattle Park today - come help move them on their way.
Went on a N to NE Leapfrog expedition, one FTF and a handful of other froggies. Popstar was singing out from the undergrowth making a quick find. Will move along soon.
After a tiring concert (see our previous log for photo) Popstar and his fans are resting in a cosy spot. It's not a 1/1 as we didnt look at the D/T before hiding but its a 1/1.5. Sorry about that!

On a suitable end to our seemingly cursed day this guy had already moved on when we arrived.
GMelb picked this one up on the way home from a day working at Simpsons Barracks.
Think he'll be too big for Yurt to take on the plane to Sydney so we will relocate him somewhere near home, after a sing-a-long!
