- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2011 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time)
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2011
Please refer to the Geocaching Australia wiki for more information - You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2011 and add the word leapfrog to your cache tags
The later you enter your frog the less time there is to get it moving, so you are encouraged to enter the game at the commencement - You are required to add the word leapfrog to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
You can add the word leapfrog to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days

Logs
Looks like the cache has gone the way of the dodo. If the cache owner can confirm it's in place they can resurrect the cache by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.
Mudgee trip 2013. No sign of a frog here. Maybe he is just hiding. Thanks

Albida.
Ended up bringing Norm back East as he wanted to see the 12 hour tace at the Mountain.
Grabbed Norm to move him a bit further west once we cleaned the spider webs off him.

So I took Norm on a long trip so he visited mates in Balranald and over to Adelaide via the Malley H'way then north to Broken Hill and then to Little Topar and a Burke and Wills stopover.
Thanks Norm for the companionship

Norm came for a drive up in the mountains today and helped us find a cache near here. He thought it was a pretty cool spot so he stayed against the trunk of a dead tree, right behind the Bilpin Park sign
Another frog rescued Tronador had assured me he was right there under this big tree but when we pulled up, there was a gardener parked right beside GZ. We were patient and he soon moved off to have lunch and we started to look around. I crawled into the big grove at GZ and was disappointed to see the garden looking extremely neat and tidy. Maybe the gardener is too dilgent and poor old Norm has been found After a while, we were almost ready to give up and I noticed a froggy sort of shape under the wet leaves and debris!! Yay!! Norm was very happy to come along with us as he'd thought he might languish there for ever!
1900 Was hoping to get my first movable GA cache, but no sign of it there. Just found the nearby Memorial garden cache.
Norm made his way to lovely Gloucester after paddling the Barrington on the weekend. Norm is ready and waiting close to the Rose Garden, under a big tree. Please pick him up.
Found this Geocaching Australia Norm Leapfrog at North Sydney get together (GC39ZD6). My first one of its kind. Made plenty new friends and logs, see GL7CM3P2.
The Arkaroo - who loves the mountains and the waters.
Travel Bugs visited:
* Arkaroo's Treasure (TB38AN6)
* Blue Desert Drive (TB3ZQ7E)
* Dolphin Surf Board (TB1FB6P)
* Betty and the Train spotter (TB3QVGW)

It was nice to catch up with Norm at the NSW Geocaching North Sydney Get-together Event Cache. He didn't talk much though - perhaps he had a frog in his throat? We hope he enjoys his stay with Tronador.
Seems like I have found this little guy before, but this time he came home with me. He'll be resting up at my place and then moving back out soon.
Being a sociable frog Norm came along to the event today hoping to meet some other froggies, but none turned up. Instead he went home with tronador so don't bother looking for him.
Got beaten to cute pair during the race, so it was good to see him back close to home waiting to be found. One DNF I can cross off the list. Thanks Rigger64.
'Norm Leapfrog' wanted to do a worthwhile leap for his last (or next to last!) move. he has taken the place of previous occupants.
'Norm Leapfrog' is in Lithgow only for a very short break before his next and possibly last move in this years race back to the Big Smoke. He just loves those train trips!

Couldn't find him today, so hopefully picked up but not yet logged - though the other frog I went for in the park was still around.
Norm, being the polite guy he is wanted to get going so he came with me today to Parra Park and stopped off in the carpark
Goodness knows why, but I piled Norm into my backpack this afternoon and then had to carry him all the way home! But he is a very polite guest
'Norm' has moved to Bicentennial Park has he had heard about the plentiful supply of food there. He was not shy about pushing another frog out of his way.
'Norm' is in Lithgow for an overnight stay, he will soon be back in Sydney to meet new cachers. He is eager to rack up some miles before the end of the race.

After work, drove down and Norm was ready for a sleep in the trees. He's right next to a big rock.
Yes alfyboy has Norm!! But was waiting for him to be moved. Didn't see Brains, but left Gnombling Along there. All good.

I think Alfyboy has grabbed him but left the others. I'm not sure as he hasn't logged Norm but he did log the Gnome as found today so he probably (??) picked Norm up too.
Didn't see Norm when I dropped off Bill and picked up the gnome and Brains from nearby.
I dropped Norm off here and was surprised to see Gnomebling Along had come to meet him I guess they were pleased to compare race notes as they were chatting away very happily when I last saw them.
I didn't notice Brains at all, he might be at a different tree??

Norm enjoyed his swim but when he heard the ferry had broken down, he asked to be given a lift back to the other side of the river
I dropped Norm off here for a swim near the Webbs Creek ferry. The river was flowing pretty well so I hope he's a strong swimmer
I met Norm this afternoon and offered him a lift on his travels. If I'd known how heavy he was, i might have reconsidered, I'll use up all my petrol just getting into top gear in the car!
Bisiting Australia's oldest cache site
Another stifling hot day, and we caching idiots are out in the heat again. I have no idea why we do it, but we just keep on hunting for one more...and one more... and so on.
Grabbing frogs from Victoria. Carrying frogs to Canberra - a bit like carrying coals to Newcastle, but never mind. I'm sure they'll be popular in Canberra.

Dropped off with a number of other frogs
Dropped of a set of 5 caches in Bulla near the Woodlands series of caches. Beware that two of the frogs are identical, so check their tags to see who is who otherwise (like me) you'll get them very confused with each other.
Access is via the grasslands near a pulloff near Oaklands Rd where you can access the froggies via a gate in the fence.

I went out Frog Hunting and I found this cache with caughtatwork on a fun night of finding frogs.
