Rules (not guidelines)
- Your cache must be a genuine, bone fide frog.
- Your frog may be store bought or hand crafted.
- Caches for the competition must be published on 1 December 2011 Australian Eastern Time (GCA Time)
Geocaching Australia has the facility to automatically publish your cache on 1 December 2011
Please refer to the Geocaching Australia wiki for more information - You are welcome to join the game after it has started provided you list the hidden date and published date as 1 December 2011 and add the word leapfrog to your cache tags
The later you enter your frog the less time there is to get it moving, so you are encouraged to enter the game at the commencement - You are required to add the word leapfrog to the tags on your entry at Geocaching Australia
You can add the word leapfrog to your tags by visiting your cache page and clicking on Tag in the Actions section in the right hand navigation section of your cache page - The game commences at 00:00:00 1 December 2011 AEDST and concludes 23:59:59 31 January 2012 AEDST
- The game administrators decision is final
- You can not find and move your own cache during the game period
- Caches must be found and hidden by the same cacher (i.e. no mailing the cache to another cacher to hide)
- There is no limit to the number of times other cachers can find / move the cache provided there are at least two other finds / moves in between
- If a cacher moves your cache overseas and it remains unfound overseas for 1 week or more, the same cacher may move your cache (within the country or to another country) without breaking the "2 moves" rule
- There is no limit to the distance other cachers can move the cache
- Other cachers in the game may find / move your cache, but they must move it on within 2 days
Logs
This cache looks like it's MIA so we'll archive it to stop it turning up in lists and queries. If it resurfaces then the owner can resurrect it by placing an "Unarchived" log against it.

Ben's back out and ready for the next finder. We were sad to let him go. In his short stay he almost became one of the family, we'll miss his happy smiling face.
We took him for a walk to where a frog should be very happy. He's hidden well back in case of high water.

Now that's what I call a frog! The 2y'stassies luggage must have been very interesting coming home.
It was a pleasure to find Ben. Frogs are definitely more fun than bingo caches. There he was, sitting under a board-walk, grinning out at me.

After being in the one place for so long, Ben really wanted a long ride. Well, he got one! Ben is ready to start his Tasmanian tour.
We headed off after dinner to look for some caches. It took a few minutes to track Ben down in the dark but after a short time he was in hand. A very impressive frog. We will move it onto a new location in the near future. TFTC
hop hop into hiding place in Bridgewater where my brother lives.
Finally got his fella moved after a few repairs, he's now got a great ocean view

This big fella was getting lonely so we decided to give him a lift unfortunately we initially went to the wrong side of the creek via the dam wall and then retraced our steps before returning in the car.
We were searching the creek back when geogrrl who stayed up top spotted him.
Heading south!

Ben had a great road trip with other frogs but leaped out of the car halfway

Was worried I wouldnt'be able to find a frog given the bushes were so large... but kinda of hard to miss BIG Ben

When at the farmer's market tonight dropped him in this great park. The great place for such a big frog - in sight of the water
Decided to visit an old Gnome haunt and drop this guy off. I wonder how many unknowing people will walk over him before he is moved on again?
Travel far big frog .

Glad to move tubby Ben on - placed him near where Daphne is meant to be down the river bank off path
Had a very quick visit to this park before racing back into town to meet friends for lunch (just made it in time). Had no luck with the Pondering frog but this one proved much easier. Although getting him out was another matter - he barely fits in my backpack! He looked so small and cute in the photo, I think he's been pigging out on some pre-Xmas fare... Will move him on as soon as I can find a spot large enough to take him (hopefully not too far from a road...)
The GPS was jumping around heaps on this one and with a pretty generic clue and not much time on our hands we had to abandon the search for this one
Hopefully we'll catch up with Ben in another place!

*FTF* with good mate Darian (MRX02) Wow, what a huge hide.. thanks Drarrryl for the hide.. now where to moove him onto.. I think this'll be a job for MRX02
Reviewing my stats I discovered a few that had very few logged words regarding the journey. I like to write a bit, and hate reading my caches logs with little of the story. This one was found somewhere and dropped somwhere on a day when we moved frogs via Geelong, Queenscliffe, Newport (ish) and ultimately to Kilkunda. Thanks for the cache and the opportunity to take this one along for the journey. This one like the 15 or soo others ended up at either Avalon Airport or up a tree at Kilkunda.. Fun was had, however like all good story's they must come to an end.. thanks for the frog..
