Description

This is Political Froggy! He wishes to spread his political campaign far and wide, in "Leap Frog", the moveable cache race of 2011/2012!

Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, take it away, sign the log and re-hide it in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:

First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log - this will give you your smiley!

Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update in GSAK and the like.

The rules are simple:
- You can "find" this cache as many times as you like (the more the merrier!) as long as the last move was by someone else.
- A move should be completed and logged with new coordinates and a hint within 2 days please.

The main idea is to keep the cache moving along so please hide it in a terrain and difficulty level that will keep it easily found. Don't forget you can  find and move this cache as many times as you like!

YIPPIE!

Thankyou very much to the black bunny delivery service, recieved an email saying that he was hiding under a rock (....not even at these coords...i got too over excited), thought yep, it's still daylight! I can go out and find him now!

After finding someone camping on the side of the road near GZ (... Rolling Eyes ), and avoiding some muggle runners (just looked like i was stretching/warming up. i could sadly blend in, because i was wearing gym gear!), i went for a search...and forgot which side is my right hand side. Whistle

Thankyou to everyone who has helped young Political Froggy in his travels. Whether it was a move of 100m, or 900kms, the logs made me smile, as he hopped around the country. Smile

Now, he is booked in for a bit more plastic surgery (i am sure i can do this, maybe not as great as the almighty clwydd hospital, but the...calwell frog/gnome hospital can try?), and a bit of a paint job.

And then, into retirement, sitting alongside GeoPirate from last year's race. Smile

Thanks for the Frog.

Nice find today among all the Frogs, Gnomes and others over 70 participants as well as the odd human, some of them very odd indeed!
Many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.

12-Feb-12
Found at an impromptu Frog and Gnome party in the Blue Mountains.

A great number of frogs, gnomes and other moveables gathered to swap tales of their life on the road.

Thanks for the Frog

What we ended up with was afternoon tea, bags and bags of frogs, and pleasant chats with some very nice cachers - as well as pjmpjm and RogerW3!

Please forgive me if I got it wrong, but I seem to remember pjmpjm, RogerW3, Toriaz and Taiko's family, all at the party. As well as a few young ladies and gentlemen running around and being generally helpful.

We now have many, many frogs to rehome, so the sooner we start the better!

Logged 'Political Froggy' again at our Blackheath, NSW gathering.

Many, many other frogs were in evidence on the day, plus a number of gnomes.

Lots of fun!

Don't go looking for any of them before 2:30pm on Sunday.

'Political Froggy' has made his way to Lithgow, or more accurately to the Clwydd Holiday Resort for some well deserved R&R.
He will no doubt be back on his way as soon as he feels ready to tackle more traveling.

Political Froggy is now in Lithgow.

He had a long, long trip today.

I think he'll find a warm welcome out west.

Good luck, Political!

Great to meet 'Political Froggy' yet again.

He seems to have been passing through Leura for some reason.

Anyhow, I've signed his log yet again.

Now, where will he go next?

'Political Froggy' has made a quick stop over in Leura where he needed to take a break in his journey up the mountains.
No doubt he will very soon be back on the road to his final destination.

My old friend 'Political Froggy' had enough of staying in the same spot and wanted to travel a bit so a trip up the mountains was in order.
He stopped at beautiful downtown Leura to meet the local Geocacher.

'Political Froggy' was overjoyed to be released from the Clwydd Hospital, he is feeling much stronger now but he still wanted a very quiet spot to have a bit of a rest after his train trip from Lithgow.
Beside this spot is well frequented by a local sucker (Oops! I've done it again! I mean a dedicated cacher) who will take good care of him.

'Political Froggy' is ready to resume his travels. He has been fixed as well as possible under the time constraints, he will of course have to return to the Clwydd Hospital at some point in the future to undergo some cosmetic surgery and a leg transplant but for now he is strong enough to carry on.

'Political Froggy' has arrived in Lithgow and will have a short rest before he resumes his travels back to the big smoke. He said he did not mind traveling in such a big tour group!
Unfortunately he has suffered greatly and is in dire need of medical help, the Clwydd Hospital will see what can be done to help his suffering, he will have to stay for a couple days before he can resume his travels.

After a very exciting night of frog discussion, my frog guests had determined that they wanted to be taken on a complete tour of Bicentennial Park today becasue they'd heard that it was chock-a-block full of froggie food Ribbit

It had been torential rain during the night and another big downpour was in progress as I prepared for the day's excursion (this is like an essay in primary school, isn't it? Shocked ) Well, to cut to the chase, it was agreed that they could each choose a spot to be dropped as we did the tour.

Political Froggy stopped off here as he'd been advised the hospital transport would be by shortly and whisk him off to Clwyyd

I arrived at blossom*s place this morning, ready for a relaxing Sunday and a cup of tea. But as I came in the door, a huge din of froggie rabble rushed over, all clamouring to meet me and wanting to be shown the sights and taken to the best eating spots. Guess I'd better oblige Very HappyRibbit

Lemmykc had debated about bringing this guy on a holiday weekend but when he realised that it would mean the opportunity to see the frog&gnome-repair specialist, Political Froggy was in on the trip.

After a number of PM negotiations and 21 text messages from lemmykc Surprised (only someone from the modern youth can text that fast!), I was crawling though the undergrowth at the gates to the Royal Botanical Gardens on a summer Saturday evening of the Sydney Festival. If anyone noticed lemmykc in there, I am sure they would have disregarded the sight as "kids getting up to who-know-what" but someone a little older (like me!) may not have been quite so easily ignored. "Some weird homeless lady" they probably thought Confused

As I dived into the greenery, I heard a lot of rustling Shocked Goodness knows who else is in here, I thought and peered around in the 6pm gloom. Maybe rats? Sad But it was very loud rustling Shocked Maybe a real homeless person? Neutral When I first explored this area for a good spot, there had been no sign of this sort of problem Surprised

But after a few frightened minutes, a "tip bird" revealed itself (ibis)and I settled in to gather up the frogs. This took a heap longer than I expected to be in the bushes and it also turned out that the 2 big shopping bags I had brought were not enough and they were overflowing with bits of frogs hanging out the top everywhere!

I had to sit on the grass next to the gardens and repack everything which must have been a very strange sight Laughing But the long and the short of it is that no security staff stopped me and this guy came home with me on the train Dancing

I have already arranged to get him to the Clwyyd hospital but he seems to be missing a fair number of body sections Shocked Maybe he can be like Davros?

This froggy made it all the way to Sydney RibbitRibbitRibbitRibbitVery Happy

Don't bother looking for it though, Blossom* already got them Shocked

Unfortunately though...... he is broken Sad Maybe a trip to Clwydd hospital is in order for him, however in saying that, I don't know what could be fixed with him. I have repaired the two main parts with super glue but there are still some holes in him Sad I think he will be alright though, just can't be too rough!

3rd time lucky - twenty metres from GZ. Found his using further clues.

We looked twice, once we missed our train because we looked too long. The co-ordinates are a bit out because they lead to the grass near the road. I seached through the bushes and trees in about a 30 metre radius but I couldn't find it. If you can give me more clues then I'll look again - it's only 17 kilometres from where we're staying.

I hope you don't mind, but we will be in Leopold (a suburb outside of Geelong, VIC) on Christmas Eve, so we are thinking of placing it there. Tell us if you don't want this. TFTC Bronnie_1990!
