Description

Leapfrog Toggy GA3607

Toogy is trying to hitch back to Melbourne, he's only young, so he'll need a hand ;)

Thanks.

Toggy is only a young frog, in fact he's a toddler frog. This is apparent physically by his rather large tummy and stocky legs. His big green shiny eyes are excited about seeing new places as he hopped along in the Geocaching Australia Summer 2011/2012 Leapfrog cache race.

Being a toddler frog, he will need assistance to get about, and hopes that you will search for him and take him along on your next adventure. He doesn't like being with anyone for more than 2 days though and gets seperation anxiety if you don't post his new co-ordinates as soon as you move him. He does have a short memory though and would love to see the same person again, as long as another two people have moved him, because he can't count to three yet and will have forgotten you.

Toggy is now a moveable cache, though we would like to enrol him in kindy in Melbourne at the end of the year, if he finds his way back.

Just to help with searching for him, here is a recent photo, though he seems to be collecting stickers from somewhere. Toggy is 19cm short.

Toggy, where are you?

30-Apr-12
he's outside the gate. will have a look for him this weekend

29-Apr-12
Had a brief look without success, it was a bit difficult to make a thorough search due to the muggle factor. The other possibility is that he's inside the fence, but with a locked gate I couldnt check (my GPS was pointing inside).

Either way, I didnt find Toggy

Found this little froggy at the Leap year event. The frogs were loving the rain and I think the geocachers were enjoying the rain too. There was a bit of a line to sign the logs and the frogs were a huge hit with lots of cachers learning about the GCA movable caches. Thanks for the frog.

29-Feb-12
Found this frog during the leap year event while we had perfect frog weather with it.

29-Feb-12
Toggy leapt at the Leap Year event along with a puddle full of friends (frogs and cachers) on this wet night.

Found with a bunch of frogs enjoying the Leap Year event in Canberra. The frogs all seemed very happy as it was wet, dark and they were with lots of friends! Thanks for leaping out on the leap day to allow us to leap in and log on this special day! TFTC

29-Feb-12
found a whole pile of frogs today, found during the leap day event and boy oh boy this weather is great for frogs and ducks

Frog was dispatched to another cacher

Spotted Toggy on a soggy night in Canberra - good weather for frogs and Toggy seemed to be enjoying all of the attention.

AHHAH! Got you this time!!!!

As norky has said, he's looking a tiny bit worse for wear than before Sad

But that's ok, as i've taken him in under my wings, and i should be able to fix him. It's just a small hole. (Or should i say only a flesh wound?)

Poor Toggy, if he shows up anywhere (he is fairly distinctive), I'd love him to travel back to Melbourne, but until then, Thanks to everyone who moved him and I hope he brought some joy for the brief time he was wandering.

Alright, I think I've been beaten to him.

Searching outside bunnings in a dress and thongs is a baaaaaad idea. Specially at 4pm in the afternoon..

17-Jan-12
I'm pretty sure he's still there...I was looking in a completely different spot..

Rocked up to the canoe event location with the grandkiddies only to find three frogs left high and dry and all the canoeists were out on the water. (I was on Granddad duties for the event as well as webcam phototaker) I picked them up and brought them home for some travelling.

I missed the frogs when they were on the island - but I found him in possession of the Lion Cubs in the back if Mountain Biker Oz's car.
I managed to delay their departure long enough to sign the logs.

We searched high and low for this froggy, well only low actually and it wasnt looking good..... the clue (off the track) didnt help much but then we decided to look at the Move log which mentioned a bush and there we found Leapfrog Toggy - 17 metres from the co-ords! Phew!
He's off on his first plane flight on Thursday! They'll treat him well and give him colouring books etc so I am sure he'll enjoy himself!
