After the 1st of February 2012 this frog will then become a normal moveable cache.
Fabio only wants to travel as far and as wide as is possible, to see as much of Australia (and perhaps the World!) as can be managed.
Remember this frog is only small, 8cm (or 3 inches) tall.

This one took a while to get as the GPS pointed to the other side of the track. The second of ten attempts for the afternoon.
Fabio Frog has returned to Clwydd after a quick visit to an old friend. He is now waiting for his visa and travel arrangements to be completed for his trip to the new Gnome Gnation.

And off to Clwydd goes Fabio, once again . . .
Bon voyage!
Great to see Fabio again, hanging around so close to my house.
Thanks, as always, to rogerw3 for his faithful frog transportation (and gnomes and BINGOs too) . . .

Fabio has made a short move to say hello to an old friend. Don't bother looking for him, he is gone already.
'Fabio' is now ready to retire from the mad world of caching, he says he will not miss it but I have my doubts.
'Fabio' was very happy to see the group of hardy cachers heading his way. Frogs like some rain but not that much!
He has been picked up and returned home where he will retire, well at least until the next event.

Spotted Fabio on our Lithgow walk with Roger. Perfect frog weather.

Wonderful that Fabio could come out of retirement -- temporarily -- and meet us all at the 'Lithgow Walk' event starting at McKellars Park.
Wishing him well in his new and quiet life in Lithgow.

Fabio wanted to have another go at hiding and being found and hopefully taken back home for a more permanent retirement.
'Fabio' is waiting to be relocated for another one off sortie for the 'Lithgow Walk'.
Nice find today among all the Frogs, Gnomes and others over 70 participants as well as the odd human, some of them very odd indeed!
many Frogs and Gnomes went to Canberra and who knows where from there, and many stayed to be relocated around the Sydney area very soon.
Fabio will no doubt make one appearance soon in Lithgow.

Found at an impromptu Frog and Gnome party in the Blue Mountains.
A great number of frogs, gnomes and other moveables gathered to swap tales of their life on the road.
Thanks for another frog from the army of rogerw3

What we ended up with was afternoon tea, bags and bags of frogs, and pleasant chats with some very nice cachers - as well as pjmpjm and RogerW3!
Please forgive me if I got it wrong, but I seem to remember pjmpjm, RogerW3, Toriaz and Taiko's family, all at the party. As well as a few young ladies and gentlemen running around and being generally helpful.
We now have many, many frogs to rehome, so the sooner we start the better!

Great to see Fabio again!
He was much appreciated at our informal frog-and-gnome gathering at Blackheath. And lots of other frogs and gnomes attended as well. Plus geocachers . . .
In the end, I left him with his owner, to return to his well-deserved retirement.

Still time to get a couple more moves in, Fabio came down to Meadowbank Park and found a spot with a friend to watch the path.
A nice quick find of this gang of frogs. New homes tomorrow as the race draws to a close.
Dropped in Rofe Park Hornsby with four others. Under some bark at the base of a dead tree. Coords rough as.
Dropped off on the way from Cherrybrook. Left for Alf
Found on a a late night hunt. Plenty of frogs around with all this rain!!

Poor little Fabio was so disappointed not to be going on the train trip to Lithgow It was carefully explained to him that his owner was in Lithgow and if he got moved there, he wouldn't be able to be moved back to the action. But Fabio didn't seem to understand at all
I promised to give him a special day's outing just reserved for him and whisked him off to The Hills

Fabio spent the night here but there was a heap of excitement in the early hours of the morning as all the frogs had heard there was a train trip in the offing
A pond of frogs decided to get together in Sydney for an Irish dinner. Hopped out here and decided to stay a while. In the hands of another cacher.
Found on a quick jaunt at lunchtime. Will take some frogs towards the metropolis.

One of a group (or bag) of frogs that appeared on my doorstep this lunchtime. I guess they are hungry, and will offer refreshment before sending them on their way.

I put out a mini froggy fire trail, but these things don't last long these days I think someone got the jump.
I was planning on coming out to get this frog and then a frog power trail appeared and so I went out to grab it. Just as I pulled up I got an email saying that the first one was found, so I dashed up to the last one only to find it gone too. So back to my original plan to grab two other frogs. On the way home it occurred to me that the person who grabbed the power trail might have left a frog or two that they had already found and what do you know there were two. So a haul of 4 frogs isn't bad.
Found in the hands of Black Bunny. Thanks for part of your Frog Army Rogerw3.

Depending which way anybody goes that is going to grab the 9 frogs I dropped this morning this is either the end or the start of a very short steep part of a fire trail. It even has warning for pedestrains and cyclists so please take care. I usually walk off to the side where there is more grip.
GCA 308 - 4562. Another Frog crossed off the list !

491. Found in a medium sized clutch of frogs right across the street. Looks like he will become part of a mini-power trail up on Cooleman Ridge in the morning. Maybe he should be the lead frog what with being on book covers etc.

Big move for this little guy. Placed in Canberra, but grabbed straight away...
Grabbed this guy as we came through Portland today en-route to Mt Gambier.
He will now stay in my care and will re-appear in Canberra in a few days time. He's off to see more of Australia.

A new home under a different bush over-looking Portland Harbour
Seems I am day or two late for frog collecting. Of the four frogs I attempted today while in Mount Gambier this was fhe only one that wasn't moved on yesterday or earlier today. Ifact he's not even the frog I thought he was, just in the same spot as the one here yesterday
Off to Victoria to see the sea.

Well Fabio may think he is the Best looking Frog in the World.
But he started a fight the other night & someone Call the Cops & draged him off the the Lockup to spend some time to cool off & think about what he has done.

Dropped off near the Seaford Wetlands whilst looking for another cache.
Out on a day long Leapfrog hunt, I had to grab this one first as it was (reasonably) close to home and a favourite drop-off location for my Leapfrog finds (having lots of hiding places, easy access and not too many muggles most of the time) Found after misreading my GPS map and parking at the golf-club as I often do, only to find I was heading in the wrong direction so drove a little further to the far carpark for a short walk and after looking into a few spots found the right one. I nice pocket-sized Leapfrog - much like my own Leapfrog-spawn Will most likely take it south and release on the weekend. TFTLF
After taking Fabio and friends to visit the Tram we dropped Fabio off nearby. The GPS accuracy wasnt the best (8m) but he should be an easy find! Having parted from Fluer he is on the lookout for a new Princess!
Took Fabio and some visiting Sydneysiders for a visit to a Melbourne icon today before dropping him off nearby - see attached photos!
Hope he isnt too distressed to be separated from Fleur .....!!

Having left the original frogs here for Yurt to pick up for the PPE, we thought we would let other people pick up the Exchanged Prisoners from Sydney. But..... they have been sitting here for 6 days now so tonight we swooped in to make the find. Popstar was protecting them all and the easy find was made. They will go to various destinations over the next couple of days
Welcome to Melbourne, Red Micro Frog! I'm sure you'll love it more than Sydney .... I mean.... did I type that out loud.....?????" lol

Having arranged the PPE (Planned Prisoner Exchange) before coming to Melbourne from Sydney I was wary as I approached Templestowe's equivalent of Checkpoint Charlie. With my four members of the NSW Frog Liberation Army I was looking to exchange them for eight members of the Victorian Frog Freedom Fighters. It was a cool foggy morning which added to the atmosphere as I searched the long grass. Finally they were found. There were 9 fugitives in hiding but one had to be left behind to look after the NSW prisoners. The exchange was made and we went our separate ways, never looking back.
Now off to Sydney.
Now off to Sydney.
Dropped by the Cumberland Forest and found the closest parking spot. Headed to a very frog friendly spot and walked around a bit before finding the frog in the likely position. I have to remember that the coords in the race are only going to be so-so with the quick drops so expanding the search always helps.
Went on to grab Fleur nearby.

Fabio came with me to the native plant nursery, then went for a lovely walk to a spot that all frogs love. A dam.
The madness begins at 7:10am Fabio is my first frog found and a FTF. Couldn't drive up to GZ any closer than I did. 5m. It helps when you know the location so well. What a cute little froglet.
