Description
Black Bridge - Caroline Springs Walk
No idea why the bridges are black around here, but it does give the chance to hide something small, black and evil just here.
Caroline Springs, just 25km west of Melbourne is a thriving community with a great trail of paths and walkways between the artificial lakes, ponds and creeks. Set in 800 hectares of grazing land Caroline Springs was developed on greenfield land since starting in 1999. At the north of the suburb is the town square and main shopping centre known as CS Square, and a man-made lake known as Lake Caroline. This series of geocaches takes you along some of the lesser-known pathways around various creeks and waterways on the edge of Caroline Springs.
The cache you seek is a nano container painted to blend into the surrounds. Always be aware of snakes around water and leaves and think before you put your hands into any hole or where you can’t see the ground.

Thanks anyway C@W...
I pulled out the treadly dusted off the cobwebs.
After dropping the geodaughter at school I headed to the springs area for some smileys.
Well this one was interesting.
As I apporoached a massive blue tongue scuttled away to what I thought was the likely GZ.
Then when I looked further and a massive ball of orange fur was showing.
Hang on that's a fox!
So I made a little more noise and it scuttled deeper.
What to do.
Thinking bout the last rabbies shot I may have had.
Should I go deep??
So pulled out a nearby stick and scoured around.
Waited for my hand to be ripped off.
No joy.
So I read the notes a little more.
MMMMM surely not is it.
Then I found it!
No damaged limbs.
