Description
Our entry into the Moving Cache Race
I participated in the Summer 09 Moveable Cache Race and while I didn’t win, I had a great time travelling and meeting new people. As a result I want to continue to travel and see where I end up.
My container is a 200ml Sistema box camo'd green with log book and assorted small swag. When you find me, please don't forget to sign the log book and move me on within 2 days. Of course don't forget to add the new co-ordinates in this cache page.
Please keep me more or less within the terrain/difficulty listed and don't forget the best thing about a moveable cache is that you don't have to worry about being spotted when you retrieve the container.
Logs
Since it seems to be gone its probably time to archive.
Thanks to everyone who moved it at one time or another.

Well unfortunately a DNF today. We had a good look around, but the rain beat us in the end. We did see 2 wallabies watching us as we searched the area.

Found the cache in knox Park, Murwillumbah and placed further south in Pottsville, NSW. The coordinates for the cache may be a little off (approx 5 metres) but you shouldn't have much trouble finding it! . You might spot a wallaby in the bush nearby or a whale off the beach.

Picked it up from its hiding place at Nerang.
Planning on tweaking its mission before sending back out to play.

Placed by the Nerang River in a park where people stop to have lunch. Parking right by the park feature which conceals the small plastic cache. You can drive in if coming from south or if from north M1 motorway. Otherwise you'll need to figure it out & maybe "do a U-ie" to be able to turn into this park which is west of the motorway.
Saw this one had been sitting for ages. So I collected it on my way back from Brisband today. Not sure what happens now the race is over? can the cache go on travelling or should it be converted into some other kind of cache?
Awaiting guidance on this before I place it anywhere else.

replaced this evening in an area near some bushland.
Best not to park on Boundary Road, it is very busy.

a lonely tree out in flower on a busy road. Cache about waist high in a the grass.
Coordinates must be out. Its in the middle of some houses between 2 streets. Closest we got was 35 m and nearest park is 130 m from it which we searched.
Please check.

Oh great, if anyone could get it close to Brisbane domestic termninal, Yurt is coming to Brisbane for work this week and could take it back to Sydney for more kms
This one has been languising in Brunswick Heads for a while and with a prod from Aussie Liahona we collected it today on the way back to the Gold Coast from Yamba. We will hide it again asap somewhere further north. We hope it enjoyed its sejourn in NSW, but it's back to good old Queensland for the PMC.

Found as a surprising FTF without any difficulty on Friday afternoon about 4pm on our way south on holiday - caravan in tow. Despite muggles picnicing and resting within metres of the cache we found and took off for a new location. No need to worry about them seeing us with this type of cache. Cache is with us in Brunswick Heads having travelled interstate already, lol. We have logged it as requested. So logs of luck in finding it and moving it elsewhere. This is a fun cache. Thanks Petan for something different. We will be interested to watch it's progress.
