Description

This cache is PrincessDiala's entry into the 2009-10 Moving Cache Race.

This cache has been created to qualify for the caching game:

The Moving Cache Race.

The idea of this game is to hide a moving cache on Geocaching Australia to see how far your cache can move within the game period (01-Dec-2009 00:00:00 to 31-Jan-2010 23:59:59).

All you need to do is:

1) Find my cache and pick it up

2) Move it on, making sure you update the co-ordinates in your online log within 2 days!

I personally don't have any goals for this cache.  Whatever happens, happens really! Take it far, or keep it near - its up to you!

All I request is that it is not taken and left somewhere too remote (middle of the dessert or the bush). I eventually would like to be re-united again once the game is over.

What you are looking for is a 200mL sistema container painted black. It does have a magnet (hopefully it sticks), but doesn't need to be used when re-hiding.

Let the fun and games begin!!

_______________________________________________

The game has now ended.

Unfortunatly Whatever Happens, Happens didn't win any prizes- but we (Meph and myself) did have a lot of fun moving other entrants in the MCR game.

Total Distance: 984.26km (26th/34)

Longest Distance: 271.62km (25th/34)

Stops: 16 (20th/34)

Many thanks to all the cachers that helped Whatever Happens, Happens in this game:

pwags, caughtatwork, McAdies, GabGab, Facitman, Coffee and Cache, solomonfamily, Oakydog, unluckycharm and stagetree.

_______________________________________________

I have decided to keep this game piece moving, and as such, have changed the goals for this cache.

I would like this cache to visit the parts of australia I have not yet been to.

Namely, Northern Territory, Northern Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia (and any of the beautiful places inbetween to get there, that I have only seen on telly and in pictures).

What you are looking for is a 200mL sistema container painted black. It does have a magnet (hopefully it sticks, if I get a chance to grab it again - I'll adhere it better), but doesn't need to be used when re-hiding.

Well, would you believe South? Located near the car park of a newish park. Lots of muggles in the popular area, but the cache is safe in a less populated spot.

Maybe time for another move before the end of the race.
Thanks again PrincessDiala

With no prompting from me Meph (my bf) decided he wanted to go and do a cache 'rescue' today over the other side of the bay. Of course I tagged along to snag a few other caches en-route.

Thanks pwags! Tought it was you! 'o) Saw your name in a cache log dated today.

Found in Lakes Entrance moved to a popular tourist spot on the Mornington Peninsula. Bit of a hard time placing cache as I had the place to my self, I placed cache relying on magnet to hold in position before I could test large number of muggles turned up while I waited their numbers seamed to grow. I will return after dark to make sure it’s secure
Good luck

We had to turn out for a cub scout picnic at Wattle Park this evening, so we took advantage of the opportunity to hide this cache in C&C's favourite park.

It's pretty close to one of our own GC caches in fact, but not inside the enclosure. Use the clue and you'll have it in hand real soon.

Picked this up on the way to work in the rain. I must be nuts.

Just across the road there used to be a kindergarten associated with the church in the next street west where I spent quite some time, a long long time ago.

Thanks PrincessDiala. I'll get this back in the race soon, weather permitting.

Well, what happened, happened. We went for a drive to Ballarat and dropped off Whatever Happens, Happens on the way through town.
The location is easy enough to find and when you get there you'll find a bonus two for one as there is another GCA moving cache under the same device. That should put some k's on the clock.

Found and removed by caughtatwork.
What a hoot, 4 caches under the same letter box.
Now that makes for easy drive by caching.
I haven't time this afternoon to rehide, but they will be out and about tomorrow.
Depending on whether the child wants to go for a driving lesson, they may be close, they may be far, far away.
Thanks PrincessDiala for this caching fun today.

*FTF* 1/12/09. We grabbed the coordinates for this and three others at the stroke of midnight, and headed out for the FTF. A quick grab and run. We were a bit suspicious of a passing car as we retrieved the cache, but they obviously weren't cachers... phew!

We'll be placing it tomorrow, so stay tuned.

Let the game begin!
