Found quite easily today. Coords were quite a bit off, but the hint was precise. This spot probably deserves a permanent cache, so stay tuned Wink
It's been up in the Toowoomba district for quite a while now, and I'm heading off to the big smoke tomorrow, so will relocate it to somewhere down there.

I have moved this one up the range to a place near Toowoomba. The cache is now hidden at Geham Well. Geham Well can be found Driving North of Toowoomba towards Crows Nest. Just past Carbalah but before Geham State School, on the western side of the road. Geham Well was dug by Mike Moore and Frank Kranz in 1882 to a depth of 33meters. at a cost of 23 shillings and 6 pence. The water was used for stock and general consumption. There is a very safe parking spot adjacent to the well maintained historical site. Above co ordinates according to google earth are not spot on for the actual well but these are what my GPSr gave me three times using two different machines.

had no luck picking this one up - wondering if it is in a similar place to its previous hide? I found the area rather dark and sinister in late (very late) afternoon, and was a bit uneasy poking around under the bridge. Saw nothing that looked like a hiding place. Wondered if I'd got the co-ords wrong but it seems not. The little upside down animals in the trees certainly made their presence felt both noisewise and odour-wise.

Driving to Redcliffe today for a car service and a warranty claim. Quick grab at 0630. I left a TB here. Could the next person to find this cache please take the TB and log a grab from me on the GC traveller page. Will re hide this on before I head home. Finally got back to Nanango at 1930 after a fun day caching.

It's in a handy spot very close to where several busy roads meet or cross. Just off Bruce Highway northbound take Uhlmann Rd exit. Can be accessed from Uhlmann Road, and also from Morayfield road if coming from Caboolture, Burpengary or Nerangba. Bush on both sides of road where cache is placed so you can be safe from prying eyes. You can park right beside the cache. Had to find a place similar to where I found it and I have done just that. You may be tempted to go on for a swim at the Aquatic Centre but there's no time for that, you've got a cache to move. While you're here you could attempt Treking Trev's geocaching.com GC1QPHY "Hugh Log" just nearby if you have not already snared it.

My first moving cache! Picked up a couple of fast cars during the day to add to cache for the support and back-up crew. Never know when that spare axle or ashtry may come in handy............now how far can I take it? How about north of Brisbane.

Gentleman (and ladies) start your engines.

Where on the Gold Coast do you move a cache which is filled with model cars and other racing paraphernalia? You move it to the Indy err A1GP pit area.

This should be an easy drive by for anyone who wants to call in for a quick pitstop. Be aware "wheel spins", "burn outs" or generally "laying rubber" on departure is not necessary. Smile

Finally caught one!!!

Thanks for the warning If about the spikey plants, as soon as my fingers began registering pain, I knew I was in the right spot.

Cache container is sitting next to me on the desk at home but I'll give a heads up and say that it will be replanted somewhere on the Gold Coast tomorrow (Saturday). Watch this space. Smile

Well if someone is going to hide a moveable cache right outside where I work how can I resist grabbing it Smile
I was still rubbing the sleep from me eyes this morning as I wandered across the carpark after yet another (yawn) nightshift.
A sudden urge to drop my sunglasses overcame me and after retrieving them I found that I had also picked up the Reel Hot Wheels cache as well Very Happy
Fancy that....!!
Now for a ride into towne on my own set of pedal powered hot wheels Wink

Oh this park looks familiar. Once upon a time another cache used to live here. I still remember those blackberry thorns and the neighbours are still suspicious every time someone parks in their cul de sac.
Now I'm starting to feel like a pirate who's been out plundering with 4 moveable cache race caches sitting here on my desk. Smile

I've added a few orange cones to keep the cars on track and a sign to control all the spectators!

The cache is hidden in a nice park but as usual my gps only had about 8m accuracy. It ought to be pretty easy to pick the hiding spot though, it's quite a typical hide.

The above co ords were taken from Google earth as the original co ords seemed in the wrong spot, maybe cause the GPS batteries went flat whilst placing the cache Sad
