Description
You are going to have to be stealthy - work out your cover - don't get caught (laughing).
But while you are having fun - "walk" a mile (1.609km) in another mans shoes.
This container has been through some hard times at the hannds of muggles ; ) so hide it appropriately.
This cache was part in the
Moving Cache Race
A cache race that is all about mobility.
Please include a photo of yourself in the log. It may spoil the secret but it will be more fun for me.
But wait there is more...
You are going to need a password. Since I don't want to make life too difficult for you it is 6425.
Congratulations to Wing6rider on the *FTF* and thanks for your OMG moment.
Thanks Apty for Lugging the container all the way from South Australia to Wagga Wagga.

After several days unable to place this I finally grabbed the car and put it somewhere where I hope will be the beginning of a new journey.
After 3 moves I think I've had more than my share of this beauty.
Good luck to the next finder. Parking is almost next to where I placed it.

I called in this afternoon and spent a short time looking on the wrong level. I initially thought it was in the Uni pharmacy, but on closer inspection saw that it was not the one I was looking for as it was covered in shop dust. I headed up to the right level and soon was setting Mobility Stealth free again.
I wheeled it back to the geomobile in broad daylight and no-one batted an eye.
Now, where can I place it again where it won't have to wait for such a long time to be moved. Is there anyone in the northern Sydney area who would like to "Find" this fine specimen? Reply to this post and I will do my best to place it near you to find. Let's keep this beauty moving.

Called in tonight to see if MS had finished it's education but forgot to bring the co-ords with me. I had an idea of where it might have been from Google maps but there were too many students milling around eyeing me up so I left empty handed.
I shall return tomorrow afternoon armed with the co-ords for a better search.

Mobility Stealth was picked up last night (sunday) at 2051hrs by a male person who parked in a bus stop with hazard lights on pretending to be broken down. As soon as all traffic and pedestrians had passed he was out and placed the cache in the boot of his car and took off.
It was too dark to get a detailed description of the cacher but he did have a light coloured car. If I can get a few shots on the web I will.

It has moved to a bus stop in North Sydney outside a building where I work. I placed it out this afternoon after the school kids caught their buses home.
This is a very busy and public place during the week so the weekend will be the time to collect it. Parking available in the driveway Sat-Sun but keep it short. I'll watch the fun on CCTV.

Nice easy find, well one would expect that with this sort of cache. The trick to this sort of thing is just to look like you are meant to be doing what you are and nobody looks twice at you. Wheeled it back to the car then did the search for the logbook and the obligatory photo. Then off to Macquarie Centre where I needed to be to leave it on the carpark roof. Great cache, thanks SamWalkers.

Well we learned a lot about life without mobilty. We even tried out using a public toilet, not so easy. Felt a bit guilty when we came out but it was a shared facility. Now trying to engineer a drop off without a 'miracle'!
Nice spot by the Meadowbank ferry terminal. Come and grab it!

Saw this come up when we were out at Castle Hill caching. Couldn't miss a chance to grab this legendary cache! Shot over to Newington and parked (should have had a disabled parking permit!) and made a very quick find. Luckily the muggles must have only been there to annoy tronador as we made a quick grab. Geoson had a ride on the way back to the car and I was glad I had a station wagon. Cache is now being utilised in the driveway as the geokids get to "walk a mile" in someone else's shoes.
We will look to place it in the Hornsby area soon so I hope there's a local GCA cacher interested. Please note if you are.
Thanks!

Well here it is, along a lovely bike track right near a serene wetland in Newington, with views of the Olympic Stadium.
The angst continued today as I had to park the car then wheel the cache across the road and down the bike path to a suitable spot. No problem there. But wait my anxiety levels go sky high when 2 cyclists zoom past, I avert eye contact and they're gone no questions asked. Then out of the blue a lady strolls by on her morning walk. I lean against the pole look forlorn and get out the phone. She's talking to me. Oh no.
"Hello, how are you?" She sounded rather sympathetic. Probably because she thought I was disabled and was struggling to stand, that's why I was propped against the pole. I let her believe it anyway and just smiled. She toddled off. Then just as I was averaging the coordinates, a man walks past , he probably thought my GPS was a phone anyway. I didn't look up and let him think what he wanted. Finally the coast was clear, I could leave my package behind.
Please someone go get this, before the whole neighborhood turns up.

How embarrassment!
After receiving a tip off, there was no time to waste. I drove straight from work, after looking up the location on Google Earth. Now some of you may be shocked that I do not
take my GPS to work.
Being Friday mid afternoon, I was hoping beyond hope that it would be quiet here. There was no way I was going to try and get this on a busy Sat. morning in one of Sydney's largest shopping malls.
After further embarrassment after circling the car park many times I realised I could not get to the rooftop from this particular car park, so I drove out to the other one. Up I went into the heavens but what's this... it only took me to level 4. I circled and circled and buggered if I could find a way on to the roof at level 5. Now I know why I hate shopping at Westfield cause I always get lost in their car park.
Well I knew where it was so I did the next best thing. I parked right next to the lift on level 4, caught the lift up one level and prayed some more that no one was watching the looney unlocking an empty wheelchair. With another quick glance over the shoulder, I scooted back inside and wheeled it to the lift and with a very bright red face ,prayed really hard that no one would be in the lift. The doors opened and I let out a sigh of relief. I hammered on that close door button with all my might lest someone decide they wanted to catch my lift. Oh no you don't. Needless to say I got back down to level 4 ,checked left and right and wheeled it to my car. Still no one about. A huge sigh of relief. Quick put it in the car. More drama. I couldn't lift it and it wouldn't fit. So I had to put the back seat down and with all my might, I heaved it into the boot.
All I can say is, that was probably my quickest trip to Westfield ever and I can't believe I didn't go into the mall and do some shopping.
After a strong coffee at home to soothe the nerves, curiosity got the better of me and I went back to the car ,took it out of the boot and hunted around for the log book. Yes.... well that is a very sneaky place to put it.
This was an absolute hoot..... too bad the chair doesn't come with candid camera.

Headed over this morning as I was concerned about how long it would last here. The Olympic Park rangers were the biggest worry. It was sitting very forlorn in the middle of the park with muggles everywhere. Hard to look inconspicuous while trying to line the numbers up with the gardener on his lawn mower zooming back and forth past me. Moving it on shortly.

Had spent a while last night trying to think of a spot to put this if I managed to track it down. I wanted somewhere highly visible with lots of muggles and cameras. Finally decided near the Olympic Cauldron/Waterfall, outside the Olympic Stadium would be good.
Lovely views, just hope the security folk leave it long enough for someone to pick it up.

I was a little puzzled by the size listed for the cache. Which part is small but once I'd recovered it I realised there was one part that was small, the log.
As soon as I knew Blossom had dropped it I jumped in the car and as luck would have it as I approached Victoria Rd right near GZ a police car did a U turn behind me and then sat behind me at the traffic lights. When the lights turned green they put their siren on and sped past me.
I thought maybe they have tracked down where it is and know something about it that I don't. On arrival at GZ there was the Mobility device safely attached to a pole.
What a novel cocncept. Now where to move it.

It turns out that it's just as hard to put the lock back together in the dark and rain without glasses too!
It turns out that it's just as hard to put the lock back together in the dark and rain without glasses too!
21st
Well that was exciting!
In the rain and the dark, I ran up to find this iconic cache. I had taken the opportunity to write the required numbers on my hand at work earlier in the day so I was all prepared.
After walking right past the cache first time around, I spotted it and found the chain lock that required the numbers
However, as it turned out, peeling potatoes tends rub ink off hands
but I was saved by a freind on the phone
It then turns out that you can't actually SEE those tiny little numbers in the dark without a torch which I had not even thought to bring! I resorted to the light from my mobile phone which wasn't bright enough on it's own. But when combined with the light from my gps screen, I could just about make out enough to realise that I had also forgotten to bring my glasses!
So I sat in the gutter in the rain, next to a weird looking cache, holding a gps and a mobile phone up to a combination lock and squinted through slitty eyes (focuses the light better for those of you who are not at that sad age yet)and got the numbers lined up.
It then turns out that you have to line them up AGAINST something and I had no idea where that was!! I resorted to phone-a-friend but he wasn't any use at all and figured I ought to be able to work it out if I was the one looking at it
It was really only a 15 minute ordeal but I was quite jubliant when I managed to get the cache free and I fled across the carpark towards home. I wondered briefly if I ought to use the speedy method to get down the hill to home but decided that the last thing I needed right then was to be found lying on the footpath all sodden wet and covered in gravel rash. So I walked fairly sedately home.
Thanks for the fun

I notice that Gowza didn't find the container or log book in it's well hidden hidy-hole. Maybe he was having too much fun wheeling it down Martin Place. hehehe.....

Packed it into the car and now to find a suitably muggley place to deploy it....!

Found this cache in the hands of SamWalkers, quite literally. Spied it over the horizon, as it drifted away from me under the steam of the youngest SamWalker and resolved to get it when it came closer...
When this occurred, I forced Moo into the contraption (sacrificial lamb!) and I pillaged the contents of the swaps container, deciding to TN and leave a couple of youth Beyond Blue wrist bands for good measure. Naturally I signed the log book (which was not NEARLY as much fun as signing appendix boy's scar earlier that morning) and cangratulated myself on a good find. Strategic, really.
What a cool cache. Thanks for making it available, SamWalkers. You guys rock!!! (and apparently you roll too!!!)

Emergency Entrance Wagga Wagga Base Hospital.
The eldest SamWalker boy came over sick on Sunday at the Oz Mega wagga Wagga Event. We invited the St Johns over to see him and they were delighted to come.
About lunch his vomiting had become so bad that they advised us to bring him in to the hospital where he was admitted overnight.
The next morning they sent him into surgery for appendicitis. He is doing fine now and we should be heading home soon though somewhat late.

I was excited to find this cache sitting in the middle of a crowd of people durrring the Saturday night festivities at the Oz Mega event, I have been following it progress and it was great to have a seat as I fillled in the log. Great too to chat with P. SamWalkers. Photo to follow thanks to Coffee and Cache that spotted us and took a nice photo on his phone.

I thought I'd missed my chance to log this cache when it went MIA. So it was gratifying to spot some cachers playing with it during the mega event presentations, and discovering that this was the long lost Mobility Stealth. I even got to have a ride in it while signing the log (didn't travel very far though)!
Thanks SamWalkers for a truly novel cache idea!

"I'll tell you what's wrong with that cache, my lad. It's dead, that's what's wrong with it!"
-Owner: "No, no, It's uh,...it's resting. There, it moved!"
"No, it didn't, that was you hitting it!"
-Owner: "I never, never did anything..."
(yelling and hitting the cache repeatedly)
" 'ELLO CACHE!!!!! Testing! Testing! Testing! Testing! This is your nine o'clock alarm call!"
(Takes log book out of the cache and thumps it a lot. Throws it up in the air and watches it plummet to the floor.)
"Now that's what I call a dead cache."
-Owner: "No, no.....No, It's stunned! If I hadn't nailed that log book down, it would have gone VOOM! Feeweeweewee!"
"VOOM"?!? Mate, this cache wouldn't "voom" if you put four million volts through it!"

..." That cache is definitely deceased, and when I looked for it not 'alf an hour ago, you assured me that its total lack of movement was due to it bein' tired and shagged out following a prolonged squawk.

The game might be over but the cache is still out there.
Mobility Stealth will continue on as a moving cache being found by people for what ever reason.
Over the two months of the competition it has been making people laugh, relieving a morbid curiosity in a harmless way, just a find for the numbers or startling a few. Hopefully some people rolled a mile on another persons wheels.
It has done OK in the Moving Cache race considering it is possibly the most inconvenient cache ever made.
__
This cache works best in very public spaces. It started off chained to the bike racks outside the ACT Legislative Assembly. I would like to see it get to Martin Plaza Sydney, Federation Square Melbourne... you get the idea.

Found this very unique cache outside the Centre for Positive Aging in Goolwa. Loaded it in my car and went home.
When getting home my partner David, who is a St Johns Superintendent, spotted it (mainly because I asked him to get it out of the back seat of the car) and immediately said "it has a broken foot plate". This was not the reaction I was expecting from him.
No, why, what or how or anything like that! He just accepted that I would arrive home with an item like this.
I just commented to him that it is rated as 'small' and he said it is correctly sized. He said the big ones had motors on them so it is small. LOL.

Well, I initially wasn't going to look for this cache. With Mrs TiedyeSmileys at work this afternoon, these moveable caches are just about the only ones I am allowed to do on my own. Actually had my sights set on another one that hasn't moved in a while. When I arrived there though, found out it was near a cache that we had been muggled out at earlier and the same went for a Sunday afternoon with wretched muggle children on both sides of the fence so left.
Had the coords for this in the gps and thought I'd give it a go. Arrived at GZ and found my coords had me in the middle of a clearing. Obviously nothing there so I expanded my search. If only I had read the description so I would have known what size this cache might be. While looking, saw something quite bizarre. What an odd place for one of the neighbours to store that. Oh well, looked a bit more but no luck so went home empty handed.
Got home and read the description and suddenly the penny dropped. Doh!!!!! talk about not seeing the forest for the trees. I just had to get my hands on this so straight back into the car and off I went.
Will put it out tonight.

What a wonderful cache to find. We were advised of it from a friend and could not wait to go and pick it up. We weren't the only ones here, firstly we had to wait for the workmen to go then we had to do battle with the bull ants which had taken up residence with the chair. It took some organising with baby seats to get it in the car but after a while managed to get everything in. We have put it near an Old Folks Village as we thought that to be appropriate and you never know they may get some use out of it. A very easy find. Happy Travelling.

I spied this out on the way through Woden on my bike. OMFG was my reaction, how embarrassment!
Went to Phillip and picked up my car and drove back to Woden. I figured the direct, confident approach was the way to go. Luckily no one was sitting nearby, just lots of passers-by. I walked up, entered the code and removed the container to the car. Will replace somewhere tonight.

I have found it!!!
It is not at the posted co-ordinates - It is now at the COOK shops.
I went to Uni of Canberra Security and asked for my cache back . . . PLEASE.
And I had to move it (yes, move it or else) but in the spirit of the rules I will not log it for distance or as a find. The next finder will, however, have to look for it at the Cook shops and their distance will be calculated as if they moved it from UC.

Park in any of the three surrounding carparks and walk in. Nice spot for a BBQ perhaps?

This was a whole heap of fun - photos to come later of GeoTeen doing wheelies.... Decided to drop it off where it could come in handy. Loved the concept of this one - a very wheel camoflaged cache. Thanks

Not knowing what to expect, WELL, WHAT THE !!!!!!!!
OK, seeing as it was 7am, mo muggles in sight, so I snaffled the "cache", then took it a LONNNGGGGGGGGGGG way South. Planted it in the middle of a very PUBLIC area in the middle of Tuggeranong.
That is ONE WEIRD CACHE - Well done you audacious walker!

A very interesting cache. I overlooked it for a bit. But then I realised that for two reasons I could not actually move it. Sorry about that. No camera with me after work today. Thanks.

Moved cache a bit further along the road (not literally).
Still having fun, although Mr Bunny says that the cache containers are getting too big and heavy for his bad back, and he's going to have to give up caching at this rate, or install the right sort of hydraulic lifter at the back of the car.
With a bit of Fore!thought you get the opportunity of a bonus cache at this location.

The gps accuracy wasn't great here but it should be in another very safe well-lit area.

*FTF* With my own entry in the Cache Race coming online overnight, I was keen to see what the others were like. So, upon checking them out this morning this one was on my way to work.
When I arrived, I came under the gaze of a group of workers erecting a large christmas tree. They soon lost interest and I started to look around.
I began by checking for all the usual things cachers look for but soon caught the GCA logo in the corner of my eye!!
What an audacious 'cache'!
Tne next problem was how to move it as I was in my micro-geomobile! Anyway, I relocated it to a nearby plain sight/muggle infested area where I am sure it will inconspicuously await the next visitor.
A great entry in the cache race! Best of luck SamWalkers.
