Description
A round camo painted container
This is a moving cache that was created for a Moving Cache Race game on www.cachinggames.com which was run during December 2009 and January 2010 and then reverted to a normal movable cache.
Aussie Traveller won a joint prize for the longest distance travelled in one move (3298.24km) and travelled 8858.11km during the race in 12 moves. It would also like to visit as many States as possible.
Your challenge is to locate this cache, collect it, take it away, sign the log and re-hide it in a different location, taking note of the new co-ordinates. Then you log the details in 2 simple steps:
First Step: Log your find with a 'Found' log - this will give you your smiley!
Second Step: Log the move with a new 'Moved' log, adding the new co-ordinates as well as something useful in the hint box. This will update the main co-ordinates and the hint for the cache listing so that it will update in GSAK and the like.
One of the best parts about these moving caches is that you don't have to worry about being spotted retrieving the cache. Enjoy being as obvious as you like in order to grab it. Then run away as fast as you can.
The rules are simple:
- You can "find" this cache as many times as you like (the more the merrier!) as long as the last move was by someone else
- A move should be completed and logged with new coordinates and a hint within 2 days please
The main idea is to keep the cache moving along so please hide it in a terrain and difficulty level that will keep it easily found. Don't forget you can find and move this cache as many times as you like!
When you hide it somewhere new, please add a good hint to help other seekers find it.
Logs
It has been 1 year since Aussie Traveller was last found so I can presume it is MIA.
It won me a prize in the first movable cache race so I am a bit sad to archive it. However all good things must come to an end. Farewell good cache. May the Gods smile on you where-ever you are.

Cache has only got 2 DNF's on it, Owner does not want it archived yet.

Comments noted but I won't archive this cache until I can be satisfied that it has gone. Only 2 people have logged DNF's since April so it may just be well hidden.

This cache seems to have headed to the big caching conference in the sky and perhaps it should be archived.
Moved close to a GC Cache GOO°LG.OWI’E GC237VG
Good luck

Was going to move this further away but due to the wonderful weather we've had over the last few day, had run out of time.
The cache shouldn't have you stumped to much

I was hoping to drop this one off earlier but got stuck with it in my laptop bag because I was so busy at work.
It shouldn't be too hard to find and there is loads of parking nearby. Just don't go on a Saturday!

Picked this one up while cycling along the Mullum Mullum Creek.
There was a muggle sitting on a nearby rock listening to her iPod but she was totally oblivious to anything going on around her, so I reached under the bridge and grabbed it! Stuffed it into my back pack and went on my way.

This one was a bit big for me to find a spot yesterday morning, but I've placed it in a suitable spot today.
Found by Bob at 1130
After a quick check on my GCA hitlist the other day, I noticed this one had been placed in a very familiar spot right on my way to work so, this morning, I popped in to pick it up. It took a couple of minutes to find, but not too long - and it's rather larger than I'd anticipated, so I hope I can find a new spot for it tomorrow morning.

We re-hid this less than an hour after finding it, this being the last move it will probably get before the end of the race.
The place I had in mind was in a tree that I had used for another of these movable caches some weeks back, but when I went to put the cache in this spot, a possum looked up at me and said "your not going to put the bloody great thing in my house are you?", so I didn't!
At this point, I had to find another spot fairly quickly as I was starting to get wet and the rest of the crew were anxious to get home. As the location is a bit "hay-stacked", I may post a give-away photo (tomorrow).
Thanks Hunter/Finder.

Found alongside a GC cache in an interesting spot.
I quickly re-hid near C&C HQ since it's the last day for the race.

Thanks to all NSW,WA and Vic cachers who have moved my cache around their States during the race. Your efforts have been truly amazing.

Very nice sized cache dropped off at a GC FTF (GC23EBC Wagon Wheel) hopefully others will go for the GC today and pick this cache up - a member of the Solomonfamily will be going to Sydney but not for a week or so.
Here's a few more kms
dropped this in a quiet little park.

And after my 800+ km round trip im back (almost) where i started my trip from.

Hi Shael6636. Just realised that the photo is the memorial to HMAS Sydney. Thanks for taking me there it looks like a great spot to visit.
Thanks for your great efforts in moving Pole Position and Aussie Traveller around too. Really appreciated.

Thanks robots, any chance of a photo to see some of your great state?

Picked this up for a day trip tomorrow with the_robots and Shael6636. We'll do our best to get 800km or so on the clock before putting it back somewhere near airport again.
If anybody does want to take it over east today or tomorrow, leave a note, and I'll place it somewhere handy for you to grab, otherwise will be logging tomorrow.

Dropped this one close to the airport where it can be picked up and taken interstate - there might also be another GC cache in the near vicinity!!!
Thanks to The Hallows and beatboxingpeanuts for the lifts around WA.
It is much appreciated. Currently 4th on the ladder but a trip back to NSW will see me in the lead.

Sorry took a bit longer to drop than I had expected. Good luck in the race.
Picked this one up this afternoon and will try and add some kms on by taking it north into the Pilbara region of WA!!
Placed on my morning walk route. Parking is off Ocean Reef road.
Retrieved the cache on the way home from work. Great view from here. Signed the log, popped in a pathtag and we will find a new spot for it pronto.
Have added this to our watchlist - and have to apologize because we drove along the coast here on Saturday completing a new Sudoku series. It wasn't till this morning when we were checking on our moving cache that we opened the map and saw that there are in fact 2 caches here in Perth. We will correct this oversight ASAP
Anyone heading to Brisbane area? It would appreciate a lift if possible or back to NSW for Christmas. By the way, Merry Christmas to our West Australian counterparts.
Back in play. Do this one in the daylight and enjoy the view.
Gave this cache the boost it needed and now it's beside a lovely lake of black swans in Perth. Not far from a GC cache that I found some time ago (IMB: Excession http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=94140e78-6d99-4447-b54e-f205b72dcaa7).
Not sure whether the owner wants this back in NSW but as I've grabbed the only WA cache to take back to Sydney this can probably stay here a while.
(edit to enter correct coords)

This poor neglected cache has only moved 400 metres in 13 days! Had a bit of a search this afternoon and found it after checking the clue. Nice little park. Off to Perth tomorrow so I can either leave it there or bring it back the next day provided someone can move it while I'm there.
It's off and racing now!

Another of North Sydney's little green squares - St Peters Park. And this spot has a nice clear view of the skies so you ought to be able to get reasonable satellite reception plus you can enjoy the views before you head off to find another hiding spot!
Thanks Hunter/Finder, a lovely manicured little park. I reckon the best fun we'll all have in this game is finding new caches and also finding new hiding spots all over! I've moved it on already - but not too far becasue I don;t want you getting too much of a head start on my entry in the race!!
