Description
A small and adaptable cache that should be able to be hidden in many places
This cache represents three firsts for me:
- My first GCA cache
- My first moveable cache
- My first foray into a caching game
This cache was my entry in the "Moving Cache Race". It didn't win anything, but I did win a pathtag for moving other people's caches. Since the race is over I decided I need to change the mission. I'd like this cache to move to Victoria.
The container is small 200ml sistema, painted black. It has an internal hard disk magenet so can be hidden in a magnetic way, even though the initial hide was not a magnetic one. The cache has a log book and pencil and will fit very small swaps.
I have initially stocked it with some plastic animals and foreign coins.

Logs
This cache has been temporary disabled for over 90 days, so we will be archiving it to de-clutter the database.
When the cache is ready to be activated again the owner can place an 'unarchived' log and it will go live.

We were hoping to get this moving on our next cache outing. Unfortunately, our geovehicle was broken into this morning and our geobag was taken with this cache still in it.
Not a huge leap, but a long one. Sorry for hanging on to this one for so long!
Grabbed this one but I almost didn't see it! A weird confluence of pipes, cabling and boxen resulted in a neat little hide on the side of the stobie pole.
Now to find somewhere just as good!

Found on a table at the Marble Bar, with a bunch of Froggies, did it get confused and think it rally should be green and croak????

Found this one hanging around on a table at the Marble Bar Hotel - I think they were confused and thought it was a lily pad
Found this guy hanging out with a bunch of other frogs at a pub dinner.. they were all pretty well behaved.. and they did have an allocated driver, and everyone seemed to leave happy! !
At a local pub with some Adelaide cachers!
Left in place of Edward Cullen. Cheers
Retrieved, before the rain set in.
Thanks for the fun!

Down near a Roo hide, but I think it is gone by now.
Found at the NSW Christmas event. A cute little fellow and good to see this one again.
We will move him back to Canberra for Christmas.

Discovered this cache at Geocaching NSW Christmas Party event. Left it for someone else to move on. Merry Christmas.
This nice little cache has now moved to this spot, don't go looking for it as it has gone already.
Left at the Wolli Creek valley walk Event.
This nice little cache was handed to me at the Wolli Creek Event by Team canary, and in the excitement of the day I quite forgot it was in my backpack until I got back home!
I will get this one under way soon.

Wrote down the co-ordinates not the clue and today in Leura the GPS was haywire!?!
I eventually found it!
I eventually found it!
I've moved this little black box along to lovely Leura and left it in a place that's quick and easy to access.
Just watch where you park because it's on a roundabout.
Better to park up or down the road and walk back to GZ.
I gave the container a couple of coats of black paint to spruce it up a bit. Otherwise, everything was in good shape when I found it.

What a surprise to find a moveable so close to the office!
Anyhow, picked it up this afternoon in a likely place on Quarry Road, and have already transported it out to the Blue Mountains. Am not sure as yet where it ought to go next . . .
It's obviously not there yet.
Many thanks to Norkmeister.

Moved this to a nice spot along Qarry Rd, behind a grass clump
With a trip to Wagga planned, I had this cache targetted as a "must find". Luckily we managed to get time on our way out of town to take a bit of a rather indirect route and grab the cache. Nice to pick up one of the earlier moving game pieces
Found on a windy ,blustery and drizzly day.
Moved it further west with no kids to say "Are we there yet " !
Thanks for the cache theme and hide.

Moved this one down to Wagga. Hopefully it will continue on its journey from here.
Found on our Wagga to Dubbo caching tour. Thanks for placing this cache to break up our journey. We will move it on shortly
Accidental find whilst looking for the GC cache 'Under Jubilee' at Borowa. Moved it onto my home village of Cudal. Close to the post office. Look up and slow down, kids are about

Had to head up to the mighty town of Boorowa for a 40th birthday bash so figured it was a good opportunity to move it on.
As a clue lets just say that it is about a meter from the GC cache.
I also hid a new GC cache whilst in town.....

Been sitting there for awhile and is close to home, so ducked down and picked up this evening, will move on soon.
Finally found time to move this on. Is in Hume, nice and convenient to those who take the Monaro on their daily commute. In the obvious place, behind a guard rail.
How convenient! After missing out on this in another convenient, nearby to home position, we were pleased to see this placed on the way to the Fyshwick markets - just when we had a trip planned for the week's shopping. Got it this time, thanks NM.
So, if you are stuck here, you most likely do have geokids/geosignificantothers/.etc asking you the question of, "WELL? Are we there yet?"
found it!!
i dislike the spider in there. i could of been easily fooled by it, until realizing that you know, spiders arent..yellowish see-through. hahah!
and now to move it along.

GeoPup get that 'Are we there yet?' look when she realises we're heading to this area. It's a little area where the pups are allowed off-leash, and although it's not too exciting, there's plenty of smells and fun stuff to roll in.
Cache is located at the base of the Electrical Pole where the dirt car track meets up with the dirt Pedestrian\Bike track.

Aha!!! AT last I have my hands on this feral cache!!! After not finding it in Bunbary, WA (cos it wasn't there!) Mr Roo kindly hid it right in front of me (cept I wasn't watching him at the time) at the Maint run.
Still, I quickly recovering it, I will now find a nice place to rehide it.

Gosh I did I did I fell over this one. Quick find on a cache I missed last time it was in Canberra. Will move tonight at the maintance run of the night cache on Mount Taylor TFTC

Grabbed this afternoon on a quick run after work. I know exactly who wants this one next so I might place it where he can find it!

Hmmm, short evening walk just on dark but no cache. It is possible it was there and we missed it in the disappearing light, but certainly nothing sitting right on top of the PO. Does someone have the cache but has still not yet logged?
Back in the ACT (sitting on top of the Isaacs PO) - go get it...
Now I can report this cache as officially collected - will hide again in the ACT sometime over the weekend.
Dropping it off in a beautiful spot - the Umpherston Sinkhole in Mt Gambier, SA.
My bad!! I picked this up at the Event in September and then it got lost down the bottom of my caching kit! So sorry... Am now dropping it off in SA to go to the ACT.
Surprise, surprise... I actually have the cache in my possession - I collected it a few days ago while I was in SA & it is now back in the ACT. I am just waiting for Urch to get back home so she can log the cache in/out & move it to SA & then I can do the official logging business. Sorry for any confusion...
Hmm. This doesn't look too good. I'll try pinging the last hider to see if they can uncover it....
DNF - We had a quick scout around but didn't enjoy the location at all, so we gave up looking very quickly. Will leave this for someone else.
Arghhhh, No luck on this one.
We saw it as we were lurking around Bunbary in search of Earthcaches, and since we would be returning home via Victoria we thought we'd pick it up and drop it back to the Cache Owner.
We looked around, then looked some more. We checked out the logs and searched for a helpful hint, then we looked a little longer in all the obvious and not so obvious locations.
Unfortunately, I was on a 5 min deadline for 'opportunistic' caches and went over that three times before I was informed that I had decided to give it up as a bad job.
Sorry NM - I tried.

Hidden outside of the cafe at the event held here in Bunbury today.
Retrieved in the dark on our way back to Collie after a day caching in the area. Will move on soon. TFTH
Our first moveable cache to put out. We placed it on the junction of the Coalfields Hwy and Gastaldo Road. In a tree just behind the street 'distance' sign.
Would you believe it but we found this one while there was a mountain bike race on. Dodged the bikes and located cache, hope to move it to a main artery road to Perth.

Took this down south with me to a mountain bike race and dropped it off on the way long the track. Great network of trails around here suitable for all types of riding, so bring the bike!
Grabbed this one on the way home from work. Had to wait 20 mins in the car for some muggles to leave, then it was an easy find.
Will move it on soon!

Sorry for the delay in moving this cache has taken a while for the weather to improve in Perth and find a good location for the cache.
Stealth will be required when retrieving the cache as it is near a childrens playground so a nightime retrievel would be a good idea.
Or bring the kids so they can play while the cache is grabbed.

As the_robots said several hours later I have retrieved the cache. The log book was getting damp so I am currently drying it out and it will be back on the road tomorrow morning.
Nicely constructed cache and damn those magnets are powerfull

Picked this up tonight, and dropped it off nearby, where Shael6636 will no doubt pick it up in the next few hours. Thanks for sharing it with us!
It has taken me much longer than anticipated for finding a new home for this little container - had planned to put it close to the Melbourne airport on my way home, but no time. And then my feet were out of action after both were attacked with a scalpel, but finally found its new quarters today in a lovely patch of parkland. Left my pathtag.
Found this cache badly water logged so am drying it out and hoping to replace it closer to its new goal. Might be a little while though...
Have replaced close to a few hotel, motels located near the city in the hope that this might end up in the hands of a travelling cachers from interstate. After all the mission of this cache is to find its way to Victoria so this spot may help it get into the right hands….. TFTC TNLN SL
Grabbed this little ‘sucker’ after dropping one of the Junior Mob off at basketball nearby.

Keeping with the rubbish theme, and a number of caches nearby if you dont already have them
This cache has been sitting around for a while, thought i should probably grab it when i went out to the footy club for a cheer tonight. No GPSr just a look at google and the hint was plenty, out and back in to the car 20 seconds...TFTC
There were many tennis-playing muggles nearby so only had a quick look. It didn't reveal itself, so I wondered if it had been picked up already...apparently not!
Hmmm, the 29th. Don't supposed there is any chance of another interstate move for this one over the weekend...
We tried our best to hide this cache as far as possible. Did we achieve this? We think yes! After we've seen how much rubbish to be thrown out to into the rubbish bin.
Are we there yet????
NOPE!!! Tooms lake is still suffering a toxic blue-green algae bloom so lets travel 140kms to home then tomorrow you can rest

Dropped off near another cache at Toombs lake
Cant go much further North in Tassie without needing a boat so took a picture of the cache overlooking Bellbuoy Beach and went on my way
only 50 metres from my desk so it would have looked bad if I hadnt of picked it up.
It can spend the weekend with me and together we will clock up some miles

Ugh - spiders are gross, but glow in the dark spiders?? Foul!! This was a nice easy find in a convenient place! Took nothing, left nothing, will move tonight.
