Description
This was my entry into the moving cache race 2009/2010
I didn't win any prizes from the competition, but it was great to see my cache moving around, and I enjoyed shuffling the other caches around, too. To see how it finished up, and get involved in this year's race, go to www.cachinggames.com/mcr/
Although the inaugural moveable cache race is over, this cache lives on. All are welcome to find and move it along.
THIS IS A MOVEABLE CACHE - pick it up, take it with you, and hide it somewhere else within two days. Be sure to record accurate coordinates at the new location and log that new location!!! Feel free to enter a hint as well if your hide is a little tricky. The cache is a 200ml Sistema container painted black. Its journey began in Salisbury (SA) and it's free to roam anywhere in Australia.

Thanks so much for the nudge SDL! Go get 'em.

The area is inside the CSIRO Black Mountain site but since this is Science Week and since we are running a "GPS Treasure Hunt" event caching this locations is on the cards.
Come and find us at the Discovery Centre on Saturday 13, Sunday 14 August.
Bring a muggle and collect a Science Week pathtag.
I think I have been here before - once or twice.
I am going the give the log book a little airing in the sun before it goes back out.
Has any one seen the sun lately?
Thanks
Albida
Down the stairs, look at bottom of concrete slope about waist height.
It is now in a drive by location. Hopefully it will get moved along.
Enjoy the local bat population above the cache.
It shouldn't be hard to find.
You can park at 33° 41.293' E150° 56.309' and walk about 50 metres past the metal gate.
Glad to see tiny Ma77hew's Moveable again, this time out of the Blue Mountains.
It was in good nick, nice and dry.
TNLNSL.
Will be moving this one along later today to either the Beecroft or the Thornleigh areas.
The competition in this area is keeping us all sharp.
On to the next one . . .
Thanks for finally passing my way ma77ew's moveable!
Took nothing, added a pen and my signature Pathtag. Will move it along very soon.
It should be quite easy to find. I cleaned up the container, replaced the GCA info sheet with a nice new one, and added a few more tradeables.
No complaints! I should just learn to check on new local caches a bit earlier in the evening.
This one has definitely been through the wars, from the look of it, but is still in solid condition and quite dry.
I might replace the battered 'GCA Info' sheet and add a couple of trades before I turn it loose again, perhaps in the Lithgow area.
Many thanks to ma77hew for setting this cache on its way!
I brought them back here, so I could look for this one more time!?!
This time I went where a man of my size shouldn't go! But, goodness me it was great fun.
TFTC. Our 150th GCA!
Zalgariath, those Terrain/Difficulty rating are only a guide aren't they!?!
Low Tide is your friend but I did it at high
See me attached photos as a hint as you will be next to a cliff and GPS reception is not great. Enjoy picking this up and good luck with Pikku!

Report: In the hunt for the nearby GC cache which I failed at If you know the cache you may want to read my tail of misery on it's page hahaha luckily all was not lost and I grabbed this as a consolation prize. It was a bit wet and damp so I have been drying it out, cleaned it up, and given the log bag a much needed ziplock bag. Who knows where it will end up next! Top Spot Hancock Clan and the hide was simple but effective. I liked it!

I've moved it to a much more cacher friendly spot, that you will very much enjoy if you like a walk through the bush.
The cache is across the road from a little known park called Veno Reserve in Veno St., Heathcote.
28 March 2010 marks the 100th anniversary of the first transmission over land for military purposes. On March 28, 1910 Lieutenant George Taylor sent a wireless telegraph to Helensburgh. The apparatus used to transmit the signal was a 3 or 5 inch coil, three Leyden jar condemsers, mercury break with a battery of 8 volts and the earth wire being attached to a newly cut bark of sapling.
The Heathcote RSL sub-branch will be holding a special presentation at Veno Reserve on Sunday 28th March.
Check out the commemorative plaque across the road on the corner of Princes Hwy and Veno St
The cache is attached underneath next to the pole. It's an easy find as you're driving past on the Princes Highway.
I got better reception at GZ up high, but the cache is amost below you if you do the same.
My first movable cache - an interesting concept.
Nice little spot it was in, though the paspalem was very long and sticky too.
Ever been to an RSL where instead of "please be silent for the Last Stand" they have an announcement to remind patrons that "it is not permitted to touch the artists"!
Cache is hidden close to the 30ft poster of the "Artists"
Bit of trivia, the "club" parts of the Australian movie "Clubland" were filmed inside.
Hid it while picking up my new Garmin Map GPS. Check out the shop near the park.
Good luck ma77hew's mobile.
Will try to find a suitable place for this to continue it's travels.

Because it was such a good spot I hid "Reel Hot Wheels" in the same place. Also because I didn't have a GPS to log the coords!
Anyhow this little cache is off to Sydney to see if it can challenge the leaders.
I don't think I could have got it any closer without actually checking it in at the baggage counter
Noice and handy to the Airtrain, Jeststar or Virgin Blue.
If you're travelling Qantas you will just have to stretch the legs that little bit more
To grab the cache you will not even have to leave the covered walkway to the carpark.
PS: I've taped a magnet inside the cache (now there's a hint).
The reason I was in the area was that I was hoping to find a puzzle cache that seems to have something to do with Matthew (as in the bible) but may just as well be based on a 1980's Blondie song
It was pure coincidence that I ended up next to the bridge where the cache was hidden and saw a tell tale muddy footprint where no footprints should normally be !!
And guess where I'm going to rehide this one in the next couple of days.
As close to the BNE domestic terminal as I can
VOZ, QFA, or JST ?
Dropped off while Goekid at kindy.
Thanks ma77hew!
